The changed finish leaves the inscriptions more defined and legible. While faint the previous one I had bought and mounted on my Ural also had blackened logo, something I'll get around to adding... or notA useful accessory that works in any season

I bought this because we are always misplacing our bottle opener and it is great. Nice & heavy construction. Easy to mount -- came with two screws that I just drilled into the wall -- and it was ready to go. The boyfriend loved it so much he said that it was a great Christmas present. Meanwhile, his very expensive camera equipment kit is sitting unused and collecting dust. We use this bottle opener all the time and we are very happy with it. Mounted it right over the trash bin so there was no need to buy a coordinating cap catcher.

The media could not be loaded. When I built my deck I had to have a way to open my beer while cooking on my grill. Very easy to use and the cap falls into the bucket (purchased separately) below. I know in the video I am not using a Guinness bottle but it is to illustrate that this opener works on any brand of beer even the twist-off type I was forced to buy for some at a few parties. It's seen several winters and opened hundreds of bottles. No rust, no scratches or dents. It works every time.

This is a great, classic Starr "X" bottle opener. It is perfectly dimensioned to work great the first time and every time for a lifetime or two. Adding the Guinness label to it gives it another classic characteristic. This thing looks and works great...maybe not so great that you can screw it to the wall in your designer kitchen, but really works well next to the beer fridge in the garage.

This is not nearly as nice as the wall-mounted bottle opener I purchased at Guinness in Dublin. The quality is poor by comparison.

I am very pleased with the bottle opener. It seems solid and looks great. It did not come with mounting screws, though as the description stated. Hopefully this was just an oversight on my particular order and as screws are cheap and easy to find - no big deal. (UPDATE: I heard back almost instantly from the company, apparently screws are normally in the box - I guess mine had just fallen out before shipping and just wasnt noticed by the packer)The opener itself, however, is indeed worth the price and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a wall-mounted bottle opener.

This product is sturdy, easy to use and aesthetically appealing. We've opened a few dozen bottles with no problems whatsoever. Make sure you mount it to a stud, cabinet or other strong surface.This is a heavy-duty zinc-coated cast iron bottle opener (verified by checking listings on other sites). I verified that it's not aluminum using a magnet (aluminum isn't magnetic).
