Body Lotion Raw Shea Butter for Dry Skin Paraben Free Body Lotion, 13 oz

Love this lotion, I’ve bought it for years! Consistently high quality. It’s very thick and moisturizing, not offensively scented, which I really appreciate. My one and ONLY complaint is because it’s so thick, it’s a real challenge to get out of the bottle when it’s low. There are worse things, though - still my fave!

Love the natural ingredients and smell. Quality and light wight but just need to open top of bottle to use.

Caveat: if you can work around the issues with this product, you’ll love it. I’ve been using this product for nearly four years. First I’ll address the problem: it is waaaay too thick. It is completely impossible to get out of the bottle. But it is sooooo worth a little fuss at the beginning. Warm the bottle in a pot of hot—not boiling-water, and pour the liquid contents into a wide-mouthed container. I use a Lighthouse Blue Cheese Dressing jar. Seriously. It’s easy to get to after it firms back up. Many people suggest adding water to thin it, but I know that can result in mold you’d blame on the product. Don’t do it. Here’s why it is worth it: it goes on easily, absorbs fully, moisturizes like mad. If you have dry hands and cuticles this stuff will cure them. Dry elbows? Gone. Patchy dry skin? Healed. Eczema? Keep putting it on a couple of times a day and you will get relief. As thick as this “lotion” is, it disappears when applied and doesn’t leave a residue. Try it.

I really like these body lotions and how moisturizing they are. The fragrance is pretty heavy but I don’t mind that. It absorbs nicely and fairly quickly. Would buy again.

I didn’t know about this lotion/brand until I was in FL a few days ago. My bestfriend has the chai & goat milk one. I got the raw shea butter one when I got back home. These lotions smell amazing, light scented, not heavy. Glides on, does not make my skin dry out like other lotions I have put on, my skin would just get dry again. It glides on! Not too thick either. I will absoutely purchase this product again!

I use this daily. It is very thick (to the point that it can be tough to get out of the bottle) but it absorbs well and leaves my skin soft and moisturized throughout the day. I will definitely be buying more!

I love the Nubian heritage raw she body lotion for really dry skin. I put this this on after the lubriderm advance therapy intensely hydrating extra dry skin lotion. its a great lotion to put on first and then the Nubian raw shea butter either raw she butter or patchouli & Buriti body lotion. or both together yet just a little bit at a time dont go over smelling like an over flowered stinky perfume. never abuse perfume or lotions. smelling good is one thing but putting so much perfume or lotions on that are so strong its almost gut wrenching so use lotions, perfume and colognes lightly. well thats enough reviews today I hope Ive helped in some small way good luck I use lubriderm advance therapy intensely hydrating lotion and then use Nubian heritage Body raw shea butter lotion for dry skin. It has a beautiful smell and in the morning before church I rub in the nubian raw tea butter with patchouli and burrito glowing and \uplifting body lotion

I've had my current bottle for years and I love it, and use it very sparingly. I ordered this bottle to replace it, and the ingredients have changed pretty drastically. The first ingredient in my original bottle is Raw Shea Butter, and it is third in this new bottle. The lotion does not feel the same, is not as thick, and leaves a strange after-smell on your skin that's a little musty and chemically. They kept the original scent (kinda) but it almost immediately gives way to a strange odour after you apply it. Performs its job as a moisturizer, I suppose, but definitely not like the old product. Wont buy again.
