its a snap loop on the back that allows a loss in a wrestle match. The belt loop would not allow to hang on molle

Yes it will fit. Infact it should fit perfectly the mk3 size is a little short so fitting it is differnt mk 3 is 2oz

Q: Would this be able to hold a CAT tourniquet?

No, I wouldn't recommend it.. We carry the 3oz oc and it's a perfect fit. The Cat t would be to bulky. Besides all the newer cat t models have a molle built in. So if you have and older drop in model, I'd suggest a larger pouch. Hope this response helps.Peace be with you..

Q: Will this fit a molle vest?

I found to be a good product to hold C.O.P or mase pretty sturdy but constant use does wear away it should fit your vest perfectly it does adjust from the back
