Designed by women for women, these superb trekking poles are made from lightweight 6061 aluminium alloy and weigh just 258g per pole (not including accessories). They feature comfortable, moulded soft EVA foam handles and easily adjustable padded wrist straps. With three sections, they can be fully extended from 65 to 135cm, to suit your height and the gradient. This also means they telescope neatly away when not in use. There's an extra anti-shock facility, which can be turned on or off. This is particularly useful when descending steep hills, or to save elbow strain. They have removable mud baskets, which can be attached near the base of the pole and are designed to prevent sinkage in soft ground or snow. At the end of each pole there are sturdy, hard tungsten alloy trekking tips for mountain use, and removable rubber ferrules for easy ground.

Extra legs for extra comfort
I bought these to see if it would help me walk up a Ben Rinnes in Scotland which is a corbett . I have done this hill a few times before when i was much younger and fitter. Anyway the poles were a great help going up as well as coming down when i could feel my knees and hips. They are easy to adjust to the right length and nice and light and on top of that they are a lovely colour of teal.I think they are a superb buy for anyone who wants to try using poles for the first time or for any experienced user.

Great for my 2-week Hebrides Trek
I've never used hiking poles before, so I can't compare these to other products. That said, I took these on a two-week trekking trip in the Hebrides and they were so helpful! I found them particularly useful on ascents and descents, helping to take some weight and pressure off my knees. Additionally, they were great for balancing hopping across streams, over rocks, and through bogs.It was easy to switch between the different base attachments, and they were each useful for different surfaces: I put the mud guards on on beaches and bogs, the metal tips on trails and grassy trails, and the covers on roads and rockier trails. If you've never used hiking poles before, I'd highly recommend these!

Your knees will thank you!
I wasn't at all sure about these walking poles, which I bought for a walking weekend as my friend already had some. They are great once you sus out how to make them longer or shorter. They're invaluable when going downhill on cliff paths, and very good for thrashing your way through overgrown paths too.

These poles have really changed my life for the better!
Having been recommended by a friend to use a pair of walking poles instead of one stick for walks I did a lot of research and am pleased with these ones although not as light as the expensive ones my friend has. I've never used a stick with antishock before and it has honestly made me more confident and independent. One day I might get some lighter ones but only if greatly reduced in the sale.

Great price for great poles.
2017...I only needed to use one pole descending mountains in Austria. It was sturdy and did the job perfectly. What a great price too, especially as my sister bought herself some expansive poles (£115 for a pair), and one of hers broke after one week of use. I don't know how long they'll last but they are certainly a bargain, even if they only last a year. That was 2 years ago and unfortunately I left my pole in a pub and it had disappeared when I went to find it. So the poles are still very good, they've been up and down lots of mountains with me. After losing one, I decided to order another pair the same. The delivery was very quick but they had only sent one. After contacting the seller, I received an email back straight away and the 2nd pole was delivered within a couple of days. Very impressed with the poles and customer service.

These poles are fantastic! Best Buy for £17
These poles are fantastic! Best Buy for £17.99. Just completed 22 mike walk owing the Seven Sisters and these poles were fabulous. Lightweight but strong and extremely helpful on the hills-both going up and down. Simple adjustment makes them longer or shorter. Very happy customer

Buy these!
good quality and good shock absorber. I really like how adjustable they are and the handles. Used them for a backpacking trip and they helped a lot with not being sore at the end of the day. I'm 21 and felt that they really helped. I would 100% recommend. (especially compared to a friends also from amazon, which seemed to be less comfortable when I tested them out)

These arrived quickly, but in a MASSIVE box - overkill really...Quite straight forward to adjust, simply twist the poles one way to be able to extend and twist them the other way to tighten. Will be taking them on a mini walking holiday to the Brecon Beacons so they'll have a bit of use there I imagine!Comes with the caps that prevent you sinking too far into mud/wet grass. Not completely convinced the normal rubber ends are very well attached so may come back minus 1 or 2 of those!!
