Excellent product. The smart sensors & settings presets make my softwares zing with new vitality. Canada Post, prompt and product in perfect shape.

A simple, elegantly designed plug and play keyboard from the most innovative controller makers around - featuring pressure sensitive polyphonic aftertouch. QuNexus is not like just a portable keyboard with mini keys that feel awkward for a keyboard player, this keyboard introduces tilt, velocity and polyphonic pitch bends - new modes of expression. I use with Mac OSX and iOS but it works across all platforms without special drivers.

I was highly optimistic when I purchased this keyboard. I've now owned it for about six months, and I would have given it a 4 star rating initially but now its drawback has become a real pain: As other users have mentioned, the velocity pressure sensitivity varies wildly between keys. Do not purchase this if you are intending on recording melodic parts with any kind of expressive control. Even just playing a scale sounds awful as it will sound like you are slamming down on some of the keys and barely touching others. The software allows for some calibration, but even doing the MAXIMUM level of compensation for the sensitivity difference does not cut it. Now for the positive: besides this velocity problem, it looks amazing, feels amazing to play (drums are less of an issue velocity-wise) and at least has the illusion of being a quality piece of gear. The reason why I'm giving this unit 1 star is because it sells itself for the expressive freedom and versatility it has. If it were just another cheapo micro midi key unit I wouldn't hold it to this standard, but the reason why I paid twice as much for this as I could have for one of those was it's purported expressive "control." it's basically unusable in a serious way. If it weren't for that one issue I would have given it 5 stars, but by the looks of it the company has made no effort to fix or even respond to this issue.
