Exactly what I needed to keep records from skipping
Depends on your player, but this is what I needed from my records from skipping. Even though I knew that they were clean, they would keep skipping, and it was because I needed something to hold the record in place.

Didn’t work out for me
I didn’t notice a difference in the sound of my records, and unfortunately it didn’t help with skipping. I have a basic suitcase style Victrola, and some of my bass heavier vinyls have issues with skipping. I’m glad this product worked for others, it just didn’t work out for me. However, the quality of the product for the price is really good!

Was too small for my turntable.
It was okay quality for the price. But didn't fit turntable. Returned for refund.

Added fidelity.
I had resonance issues with a cheap turntable that I use to play 45rpm records which are in rough condition.The hard plastic platter on this unit caused a harsh,tinny effect and it sounded awful.Adding this simple 7" rubber mat softened the sound considerably and increased bass response by a fair margin.I recommend this for any record player with a plastic platter.Furthermore,I imagine if you have a larger platter the effect would be just as great if not greater.
