XFasten Reinforced Gummed Kraft Paper... Perfect for custom packaging, adheres very well to different materials and doesn't curl once wet. The width is perfect, I don't feel like I have to double tape like standard 2 inch tape. This one is my new packaging best friend!

I sell books. Each week I package 6-8 Home Depot small boxes (16X12X12). Books are heavy. Each small box weighing up to 50 pounds. I was using clear tape and then a couple of strips of duct tape for reinforcement. I found this cost savings alternative and all I can say is wow. It is so worth the money. I now only use this tape and nothing else to seal my boxes. It makes for a much more professional job. The fiber/thread reinforced tape is super strong and literally BONDS with the cardboard...becoming one. You have to activate each strip with water. I found a spray bottle works best. If you don't fully wet the tape it will have areas not activated. So the key to spray a nice fine mist over the whole area and lightly rub it down with you fingers before applying the tape. Too much water will wash a way the glue. Too littler will not activate it. You will get the hang of it after a couple boxes and then it just becomes second nature. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.
