Good product
You need to buy a bracket to attach this on to your rack. I got the universal bracket made by them. I had to drill 4 holes on each to retrofit it to my rack. Each bracket costs 25 bucks so the whole thing actually costs over 200. Deployed well, very durable, worked well for my trip. I think they could do a better job telling you how to install it.

Thick material
Quality awning and great price! The material is think and actually the same thinkness/material as the ARB Simpson III rooftop tent. Easy to errect and take down!

Camper “must have”
Usual ARB quality. Only thing I dislike it does not come with the mounts. I also have Smittybilt and they come with mounts and are equal quality.

Easy install, harder setup, immediate breakage
Mounting the awning but pretty easy but it does not come with any mounting equipment so that's pretty irrelevant for this part of the review. Immediately after mounting it I pulled the zipper and the tab immediately broke of.. and not just the tab.. the mounting point for the zipper pull came off in it's entirely so I can't even replace it. That said, setup was OK. It definitely is not the easiest thing to do as a one-person job. Hopefully I can get a replacement zipper put in otherwise I'll be sending it back as I expected better from ARB.

Great top for driving on the beach.
Perfect for the beach. Fast set up and take down. I use 2 5 gallon buckets filled with sand to anchor and we are chilling. Thanks

Very durable and easy to install 👌
I love everything about this. Its is my second one I purchased 6.5x8.5 was the first one. This came on time but it was damaged when I received it. Only notice it after I installed it on my truck. Already ordered the replacement and it's on it way. I would definitely give this one a 5 stars if it wasn't damaged.

Another great product from the trusted ARB brand!
The ARB brand is as reliable as any in the off-roading, overlanding business and this awning is no exception. It will be a perfect fit for my Suzuki Samurai as well.

Great product for the price!
I bought the 1250mm for my ’19 Subaru Crosstrek. I mounted it to my Thule Wingbar crossbars with the ARB mounting brackets, which I had to buy separately. To summarize overall, it’s a great quality product for the price. The material is very durable. There are a few points that’s I’d like to bring up as to why it didn’t get 5 stars though. I bought the 1250mm knowing it is not the most practical for shade coverage and keeping dry from the snow/rain, but I personally couldn’t bring myself to put the 2000mm on my small vehicle. If you don’t mind looking at a giant pole on the side of your car, then I highly recommend the bigger one. But I’m also glad that I didn’t get the bigger one because I had some struggles setting up the awning by myself. I stand 5’4” and being a woman, I have shorter arms. I found that the lack of resistance in the telescoping aspect of the poles to make it a challenge when trying to stand the awning up. I couldn’t imagine doing it by myself with the bigger one. With help, I’m able to do this much smoother. Even with practice however, I still find myself getting a bit annoyed with the poles. But this awning does its job well and that’s what counts for me at the end of the day. Great product for the price for sure. It would be nice if the brackets came with awning. Also, I saw a few reviews from people saying they couldn’t mount their awnings with the brackets to Thule crossbars, if it’s any of the non square or circular bars, I used a 1/4” carriage bolt with two nuts, the last one being a locking nylon nut so that it couldn’t come loose. Hope that helps.
