Sato the Rabbit (Volume 1) Hardcover – Picture Book, February 23, 2021

My five year old and I love this book. It has beautifully made illustrations with a lovely quality of paper (expect nothing less from Enchanted Lion Press), imaginative and poetic stories and fun to read text. I’m so glad to have this book in my special picture books collection.

I adore this book! The whimsy, soft lines, beautiful colors, and simple yet evocative language are engaging and absolutely enchanting. It is a series of little vignettes, each one its own sort of "chapter", so it can be read to even the smallest child in bits and pieces. I think this book is destined to be a classic, and I'm so grateful it's finally been translated into English. Get this book for your kids!

Gorgeous book with several sweet stories. Will read it again and again with my four-year-old granddaughter.

We sent this to our grandson for his 5th birthday. He loves the book and wanted to bring it to school with him. He studies the images created by the words and pictures. It's a very unique children's book. We highly recommend it!

Michael knocked on my for the first morning of my visit with his family. He brought Sato, hoped up on the bed and read it to me. What a lovely experience all around!

Unlike the 1st edition that delivered on color and detail expected from the series, the 2nd edition is probably the worst example of a publisher switching printers and ruining a fantastic book. If you are looking to collect all three Sato books, please make sure to buy the 1st edition or wait until a better edition is made available. It's a real shame, because all three Sato stories are absolutely beautifully illustrated and told!

We got this as a gift for our toddler. It’s a surreal, whimsical, and nostalgic magical book. My daughter loves it and I actually love reading it, it works my adult imagination better than most things we have in the shelves. I’m surprised it’s not more popular.
