Comfortable, durable, well worth the price to save space packing
Yes, the price is high relative to other towels. And yes, it is 100% worth it. Whatever money you spend on this towel is repaid 100 times over in the space saved in your luggage when traveling. The Ultralite is insanely light and thin, yet it’s soft (just wash it once) and very comfortable for drying off. It doesn’t have that sticky feeling that many other travel towels have. It dries quickly, especially outside or where there is sun or wind, and you can easily squeeze out excess water. It can go for a long time between washes in terms of smell and hygiene, too.The face size is quite small, and I’d probably only use it if I could cut off the loop, but I think that would damage the edge. The hand size is great, and if you have privacy while traveling or you don’t need to be fully covered up, if you have short or no hair, or if you are willing to squeeze the water out of longer hair first before using the towel, a one-bag or minimalist packer could happily use that size. The body size will make certain that you can fully dry off, long hair or not. In terms of covering up, if you’re smaller and want to cover your body up through the chest, you can manage but just barely, and it won’t be modest. If you just need to cover around the waist, you’d be fine but should check the overall length and compare it to what you need to properly wrap around for your body size. Finally the beach size is enough to cover up for many people, just check the length relative to your body again. The beach one is still small and light, but if you’re counting every ounce and tiny bit of space, then the hand or body size towels would be better. When the temperatures are mild, the beach towel can be used as a very, very light sheet.Overall, I’d recommend this style of travel towel over anything else I’ve used based on its packability, comfort, and quick drying.

Best Travel Towel - Ultralight, Small, Love the texture.
I accidentally bought the regular version of one of these and was totally bummed it wasn't the ultralight. So even though thr ultralight cost many times more, I came back to buy it. Worth it for me, but I am picky about weight, size, and texture. For me this is great bc it's not the classic microfiber texture which squicks me out. This texture is more like a thick kleenex lol which weirdly I like. It's super durable though, I have been using my mini one for years and years with zero problems, zero tears, no edge raveling. It does get softer with use and washes, but I find it soft enough right out of the package. So basically I love that it saves space and ounces and dries super fast, and doesn't have weird sueded thick catchy fabric of regular microfiber towels which give me the willies like nails on chalkboard. Is expensive for what you get but I expect it to lasy many years so I'd rather have one I love.Wish there were a few more patterns available but oh well!

Perfect remote beach towel
I was concerned about spending over $40 on a beach towel and $30 on a body towel which for me, is expensive even if these were sale prices. However, I really wanted something super light as I like to be on the move without excess weight or bulk holding me back. The beach towel is crazy light & folds nearly half the size compared to a $20 microfiber towel I was interested in. It's spacious enough to let my partner or a friend to sit on it with me. It's nicely wide (3ft) but the length can be too short for some people laying down. I'm 5'2 and my feet are popping off the towel laying on it. If they made it more like 70 inches long, then this beach towel would have been absolutely perfect. In fact, I view the body towel as more functional for backpacking and/or to bring to the beach because both towels are just as long & both are at a comfortable width to lay down on. I would return my beach towel for another body towel but it would actually cost me more now (sale is over).I haven't tested drying off with either towel yet but I'm assuming it will be good.

Expensive, but worth every penny
This was the most useful item that I purchased for my recent trip to Spain. It is very lightweight and took up so little space in my suitcase and I used it for a bunch of different purposes. Hotels and airbnbs rarely give you enough towels. I used it as bath sheet and hair towel. Later, when I walked to the beach, I could take a much smaller bag because I didn't have to carry a giant beach towel. Sand doesn't stick to it. It dries very fast and the green pattern looks really beautiful. Also glad that I got the biggest size available.

Great ultralight towel
Love this towel. Packs down small but very absorbent and fast drying. I travel with a 20L backpack only around the world for a year and this towel works great as bath towel, also perfect for use at the beach to dry up. I bring this and a sarong to the beach and skip the thick bulky beach towel. Very lightweight as well and the green color one does not bleed

Absorbent, light and quick drying
Best addition to my pack this year.Just took this on a 4 day hike from Rockfish Gap to Tray Foot and back on the AT. It had rained heavily over the previous week and there was a light but steady rain shower for the first 2 days. The water was much deeper than normal and we crossed no less than 3 dozen times, some as shallow as knee deep (I'm 6'2) others well above the waist. I normally just carry a kitchen towel and a buff/bandanna but I've been steadily dropping weight from my pack and this was flippin excellent. It folds up to the size of a half deck of cards, dries hella quick, has a nice buttoning loop which I used to hag it from my pack to dry between crossings. Its also quite soft and super absorbent. The 16.5x36 size was great, I may go a size up for my next one but this will surely do for the rest of this season.

The towel I was looking for...
I had this exact same towel, in blue, for a round the world trip hitchhiking almost 20 years ago, and loved it. I was really sad the day I lost it in Asia. Since, I've tried many different towels and was never satisfied as I was with this one. Never smell, absorb water like crazy, ultra light and dry in no time. I put only 4 star in the value for money because long time ago, it was sold with a nice pouch, but not any more. I'm lucky that I've lost only the towel 20 years ago, and I still have the old pouch where I can now put the new one :)

Did not include zippered pouch as advertised.
I have a few of PackTowl Personals, for myself, the dog, etc. I got this ultra lite face size to keep in my EDC bag so that I always have a small towel/cloth. The towel itself is as expected and good quality. This did not come the zippered pouch, despite the description saying it does, as well as the towel type comparison chart. So now if I do use it and it’s dirty, it goes back in my bag touching everything else instead of cleanly inside a pouch. I went with PackTowl specifically because cheaper brands don’t have the pouch.

Not bad, not soft
I like that it's compact-super travel friendly but it's not soft.

Light and pack able
I use this for hot yoga and as a hair towel when travelling. It’s very absorbent and just big enough to wrap your hair up.
