This is a great bag--hands down. I've been using it for several weeks for travel and for going to the gym, so this review is based upon actual experience. The bag is sturdier than you realize (in terms of standing open by itself while open. The canvas is strong, the zippers are large and smooth, the color-coordination is professional but not ostentatious. The length-expansion (via two zippers) is much appreciated... as are the compartments. Someone was thinking when designing this bag. I applied two home-hacks to make it even better. (1) I added a thin (3/32") Plexiglass sheet (see photo) to the unexpanded interior bottom (10" x 16"). The Plexiglass is light, so you don't really notice the additional weight, but the benefit is it makes the bag sturdier for carrying heavier stuff (books, laptops, water bottles, etc.). You can easily go to thicker Plexiglass for an even sturdier bottom. To not damage the inside of the bag I rounded the corners of the Plexiglass and covered the edges with duct tape. (2) I applied three coats of heavy-duty water-repellent to the bottom of the bag, being careful not to spray the zippers. (If you do, just work it out by zipping and unzipping several times, and you can add a tiny amoung to Vaseline to the zippers to smooth out the action.) No, I don't intentionally place the bag in wet areas. Rather, it's a precaution (like at the gym or on a rainy day). Make sure you clean the bottom well before applying and let it dry... then apply the water-repellant letting each coat dry. Doing this once every 6-months to a year will help maintain the integrity of the bottom of your bag. To the designers: you folks may want to consider upgrading the bag to something similar to my home hacks. Otherwise, please keep up the good work. To buyers: I've gone beyond what is needed. You certainly don't need to do what I did: it's merely a suggestion. You'll be happy with the bag anyway.

Surdimensionné... NON. Sac d'excellente qualité par contre plus petit que ce que je pensais qu'il serait, Ok... j'aurais du lire les dimensions mais j'ai accroché sur surdimensionné, CE QUI N'EST PAS LE CAS!!!! Ce sac est de grandeur normale et arrive environ au 3/4 de la dimension à laquelle je m'attendais. C'est la raison pour laquelle j'ai donné 4 étoiles autrement le produit est d'excellente qualité!

Well designed and constructed, comfortable shoulder strap but no wheels which is fine with me, I like the exercise. Sturdy material and very nice looking, classy, even.

I'm not sure what else I can add that hasn't already been said in other 5 star reviews. The quality and durability of this bag is one you would expect to find in a bag that costs three times as much. There is PLENTY OF ROOM to pack clothes for a trip that lasts several days and enough zip up compartments for the extra little things you might want to bring along with you. I am very pleased with this purchase. The canvas material is thick but not so much that it adds extra weight to the bag itself. The zippers are of good quality and don't give the feeling that they will fail any time soon. I like the inclusion of the shoulder strap. If you're thinking about getting a great duffel bag at a great price, look no further than this one.
