Excellent blender. Quiet!

Powerful enough for any smoothie with crushed ice. I also have the matching toaster, just a beautiful combination for any kitchen.

I purchased a Blendtec several years ago, which worked well and did it’s job crushing ice cubes, blending creamy smoothies, etc.. However, the noise it made was deafening. So I began my search for a new blender. I wanted a blender that would a job as well as my Blendtec but much quieter. This Wolf blender did the job quietly with applaum. I’m very happy with my purchase and look forward to many years of use. It’s built solid and the top seals the jar well so nothing being blended escapes. Unlike my Blendtec, which always blew the top off and sprayed its contents everywhere unless I covered the top with a towel and held the lid down. What a relief I don’t need to do that any longer.

I purchased the blender and it's a great product (very quiet!), but I wasn't impressed with its ability to handle my daily smoothies. For instance, it left small chunks of frozen banana. I took a chance and bought this smaller container after noticing that the blade design is different from the larger blender jar. Well, this smaller size blender jar definitely does a much better job of creating smooth smoothies. I'll use the larger jar for food prep work, soups, etc.
