Soft leather & great slim wallet

So this wallet has a soft outer shell. Made with real leather, but it's a bit big for my taste. Has a double money pocket which is great. Over all I am happy with it.

Better than I expected -First, it is nearly exactly the same design as my old, non-RFID-shielded wallet (a Levenger "Bomber Jacket Slim"). It is exactly the same length, and it is 3/16" (about 5mm) taller. I like that design, so I stuck with it. The slight difference in dimension is imperceptible in my pocket.It is nearly exactly the same thickness - mayyyybe a mm or so thicker. Again, not perceptible.The leather is not quite the same quality, but it is very good - soft and pliable. But, it has that leather smell, similar to what you experience when walking into a Burlington Coat Factory. If you can smell it, it's not high-quality leather. But I wasn't expecting Hermes for 25 bucks, I'm expecting RFID shielding :-) that's why I didn't deduct a star. My old Levenger wallet is currently 69 bucks, and if this one were priced the same, I'd knock a star off. Regardless, the leather on this wallet has a good look and feel on par with many more pricey wallets, and the aroma will fade as it airs out. I'm certainly not embarrassed in any way being seen with it :-) it absolutely does not look cheap. It's just something worth noting as it may not last for years and years like my old one.If you bend it around and massage it, yes, there is a slight crinkling sound - it's lined with foil, after all. I wonder if other wallets that don't make any sound have enough blocking foil in them? I can only hear it in a quiet room tho - it's inaudible at a store or restaurant.It seems like everybody and his monkey is jumping on the RFID-shielding bandwagon, but this company is the only one I can find that has been in business for more than a year or two (over 10 years, in this case), and that actually has a website with an owner who makes informative videos and articles demonstrating the products. I don't have the equipment to test these things, so I need to have some confidence in the company making them.So all in all I think this is an excellent purchase.The photos I uploaded are of my old wallet and this one and both are empty.

I switched to this kind of wallet because my bank recently switched my credit & debit cards to RFID enabled. I would have like room for a few more (store) cards but, as I looked at the "stuff" in my old wallet, I had it too stuffed with unnecessary stuffing.

I've performed one real-world test and the RFID-blocking capabilities of this wallet worked as advertised.Until recently I had only one card that had the ability for contactless payment and I was in the habit of just touching my entire wallet to the card reader. When I got a second contactless card I realized that this wouldn't work any more since I had no way of deciding which card would be used. Then I got to thinking about preventing theft and decided it was time for a wallet that could take care of that for me. I got to the store this weekend and tapped my new wallet (holding only one card, as a test) to the reader as usual. Nothing happened.The wallet itself appears to be decent quality. It does have a strong odor of leather and something else - plastic? - that I'm assuming will blow off soon enough.

Worst wallet I ever purchased. I have purchased other "Security Stronghold" products and liked them all. This product however misses the mark. The wallet is wide, thick, and stiff. The wallet is so stiff I cannot get bills or cards in it (out of it) without a struggle. I have used the wallet for 3 weeks and it has not loosened up at all. The wallet is so thick It's like carrying a woman's purse in my hip pocket. I find myself getting frustrated every-time I reach for and try to use the wallet. Please understand the wallet is good quality, in-fact it would probably make a great hockey puck. Unfortunately, the return period is over so I'm stuck with this thing.
