MUL-T-Square w/Extended Blade

Bought this for doing 90's, 45's and offsets on pipe. Attempted to use it several times but bought the long set and would not work with the location of the valves and fittings. So, first suggestion, buy the long set(20" I believe) and the short set when buying. The time or two I was able to use it they work great. Can set up long runs on a 90 and get them squared easily.The only problem I've had so far is when trying to get the shorter "45" ends into the plastic housing. The seem a bit wider and you really have to force it into the housing. The straight ends go right in easily. Have not used it for setting up flanges, prefer my proven method of leveling the pipe and flange. This was worth the price I paid and will come in handy on future projects. The plastic housing seems pretty good. Holds the two pieces securely. If you abuse your tools and throw things around it might not last though.Overall I would recommend it. Four stars due to the issue I am having getting the shorter 45 ends into the housing though.

Not close to being square, 45° or even the same.I took both of the blades, lined them up and was off 1/2" at the ends.I then took the blades formed a 90° and was off by an inch.

Great product, but it could be thicker. The metal is kind of thin and the holder is kind of cheaper/weaker plastic.

Nice tool ... the slide could be better built... heavier made... the squares are very nice....
