Zig Kuretake Watercolor System Brush2O, Multi, Small

This is the first time I've used water brushes. They are easy to fill with water by following the directions and are a good size to work with. I'm using them for botanical art using watercolour pencils. I'm still experimenting, as I'm much more used to traditional watercolour paint. For very fine detail, I will still probably use a traditional brush but I've really enjoyed playing with them today with the pencils. Much better control of flow compared with pentel water brush when used for botanical art.

I love these water brushes. My first ares till great and are over 15 years old! Got some more for myself and for gifts. I use these all the time. I like the reverse fill, you squeeze, dip and the water sucks up into the reservoir, and won’t pour back out. Other water brushes you have to pour the water to fill and they can leak. Not these! These truly are top quality. I hope they never stop making them.

I purchased these to take in a cruise and wanted something I could paint on the go with. These worked great. The bristles are flexible enough to paint with but don’t lose their shape easily. I loved them so much I purchased another set for my 9 year old daughter to use as she practices water color. They are easy to fill and do not leak. Literally the best water brush I have ever used.

Ich habe schon so einige Marken durchprobiert, von sehr günstig bis sehr teuer, und ganz viel dazwischen, aber keiner kommt an diese hier auch nur ansatzweise ran. Der Wasserfluss ist bei allen 4 Pinseln sehr gleichmäßig, nicht zu viel, nicht zu wenig. Exaktes Nachdosieren durch ein bisschen drücken sehr einfach. Die Pinselspitzen sind alle sehr spitz, mit allen drei Rundpinseln sind daher ein flächiges Auftragen als auch ganz dünne Linien möglich. Klassische Aquarellbilder, loose Watercolor Technik, colorieren von Stempelabdrücken, mit diesen Pinseln ist das alles möglich. Der breite Pinsel eignet sich durch den gleichmäßigen Wasserfluss auch ganz prima zum anfeuchten des Aquarellpapiers, anfeuchten ohne Pfützenbildung. Die Pinseldurchmesser sind sehr gut gewählt für Arbeiten im Sketchbook und bis zu einer Papiergröße von A5. Für größere Formate würde ich normale Aquarellpinsel bevorzugen. Aber da ich auch viel auf Reisen male sind diese Pinsel optimal. Volle 5 Sterne und eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.
