Since we tried it at Japan House in London, we always have it for our breakfast
Amazing product my son love it! The taste is unbelievable! The first time we tried it at Japan House in London ( a famous Japanese Restaurant) and since then we have it every morning with our breakfast its a very light tea not heavy to drink in the morning We usually matching with our salted breakfast. Amazing product! I wish they'll sell a big packet options.

Tastes like spring!
After living in Japan for a few years it’s great to know I can still get seasonal teas like this in the UK! The sakura flavour not only comes from cherry blossom but also the leaves, so it might not be as floral as you expect if it’s your first time trying it. If you like traditional Japanese sweets though, you’ll definitely like this! Takes me back to spring in Japan 🌸

Great quality tea but subtle sakura flavour
I believe this is a very good quality green tea - it has the sediment at the bottom. I feel better from drinking it already. It looks very very green when brewed, and it brews faster than my other green teas I noticed. However - it loses a star for not many Sakura petals and the taste does not come through much. The expiry date has 11 months to spare - I better get drinking! I feel this date could be longer really as it’s very expensive at £12.99 for 100g, however I believe this is due to the green tea leaves being a superior quality compared to most.

Seaweed tea.
After making this into ice tea I noticed an aroma I couldn't figure out... then it hit me... "seaweed". When brewed this tea has the unmistakable smell and taste of seaweed, its actually a fishy smell when brewed. Will not be buying again as it is most unpleasant.

Delicious and delicate
First tried this type of tea in a ramen house in London and my girlfriend loved it she wanted me to buy it for her. Now every time I make her a cup I make one for myself too as I am addicted.

Not worth the money
I wanted to save the money and chose this Sakura tea instead of another more expensive brand that I’ve tried before. This one is very weak and grassy tasting compared with the other tea, not worth the money in my opinion.

I am a fan of Japanese teas of the less stratospheric variety. I enjoy drinking genmaicha (green tea with roasted brown rice mixed in it) hojicha (roasted green tea) and kukicha (kind of sticks and stems from the tea plant.) These are flavourful, not as caffeinated as regular black tea, and some such as genmaicha are anti-oxident and anti-inflammatory. I purchased this brand of hojicha after not having any of that kind of tea in the pantry for a couple of years. I was attracted by its being organic, and of a trustworthy brand. I like it, and have at least one cup a day every day in the afternoon, and maybe an additional cup with dinner. It needs to be made properly, so follow the instructions on the bag to the letter. I use a "tea egg" or "tea ball" in my cup to make the tea. My wife uses a tea strainer. Good luck.

This Hojicha tea has a roasted, nutty, toasty, flavor with a touch of dark coco. Add honey for sweetness. Overall it's my favorite afternoon tea. True Japan quality tea.

We love this tea! Low in caffeine and tastes great. I've bought several of these and intend to buy more as needed. This is a good price as well for organic tea. Hojicha is our favorite tea and this doesn't disappoint.

Japanese visitors approved. The roasted scent and taste was a wonderful reminder of roasted tea back in Japan. Would buy again.
