The roundness of the mouth of this windsock depends on a circular piece of plastic tubing. This circle was folded and creased in order to pack it into it’s plastic sack. It is now permanently not round and was quite wimpy to start with. The taper of the cone is not right. The air exit should be smaller compared to the air entrance. The metal swivel clip is too small and too weak to endure the elements for very long. All in all, a truly sorry piece of grunt. Don’t buy it.

Mis shapen warped ring. Put the wind sock up on thursday at 5:00 p.m. By friday 5:00 p.m. it was twisted and the seam had ripped open. Lasted 24 hours, previous same model lasted 5 months , not bad in the desert at 8,000 ft. This latest sock was the worst windsock ever made.

Nicely made/fills with air at full length hanging down wards at about 5 mph.then flys higher as wind picks up. So its directional use is quick to respond. Air speed is harder to judge

we burn wood, absolutely NEED to know what direction the wind coming out of. very important, (dont like backdraft) its bright, its big, its heavy duty construction. oh its awesome! i highly recommend this sock!

the windsock is a nice looking unit for a backyard windsock. However they fade quickly in the high UVs of the CO mountains. There life span is about 2 years, after that they are windrag. The price is fair.
