Love the Camptrace Sun Hat! I hike a lot, so the neck flap is awesome. It can be rolled up inside the brim if you don't want it to be visible. A chin strap keeps it on in windy weather, and mesh on the crown should allow for some breath-ability while keeping the sun off of my head. And did I mention that I love the green color? It's not quite army green, and not quite forest green... just a really pretty dark green that won't show the dirt.In terms of fit: There is a elastic cinch that allows you to adjust the brim size. It fits me (21.5 inches around my head) and also fits a guy with a 7.75 hat size. That's amazing for a one-size-fits-most hat. Usually those are too small for me and too big for him. So I'm super impressed with the size range.Wide brim keeps the sun off of my ears, neck, and face all at the same time. It also feels good-quality, so I'm hoping it will last me many years. My only complaint is that it's hand-wash only, but I guess I can live with not throwing it in the washing machine.*I received this hat as part of a promotion. I love this hat. The price was right and it fits perfectly. I wear it for hiking, kayaking, and biking since I live in Orlando and the sun is intense. I got in a rainstorm a week ago, while kayaking. and this hat was protecting my head fantastically. I'm super happy with it

We bought this for my son when he was going on an archeological dig in Italy for a school trip. He was really happy with the quality and it held up great. He was happy it had a draw string to tighten it and the fact that it has a rear flap that you can take out to protect your neck when it's really sunny.The only reason I gave it four stars is because of the packing. It was packed very tight in a small box and the crease in the visor took quite a while to get out.We did like is so much that we bought a second for my father in-law for him to work in the yard.

Very comfortable, I didn't get too hot wearing it at the beach. Did a great job keeping the sun off my head and the material that drops in the back kept the sun off my neck. Also like that you can roll up the material in the back if you don't need it.

This hat works well for sun avoidance as well as anti surveillance camera. It seems to be comfortable, stays on well, and has a big Brim to protect you from the s u n.

Used while staining deck in summer sun. Saved my face from sunburn.

I absolutely love this hat! It’s super cute and the brim is wide enough to hide my entire face. I’m on a medication that makes me sensitive to the sun and this helps me go out and hike and enjoy time outdoors with my family. I like that it has a neck strap, which helps keep it on during windy conditions. It’s lightweight and doesn’t make me too much hotter by wearing it.

I do like this hat, and it does provide some sun protection, but after wearing it for about four hours one morning doing yard and garden work I noticed the top of my head and large areas of my face were slightly sunburned. While pretty good for shorter time-frames, lightweight, and comfortable, not a great option if you're going to be in full sun for extended periods of time. At the very least, it could benefit from an additional layer of sun protection material at the top.
