Simple and Elegant
The SmallRig V-mount Battery Plate works great for my rig. Built well and sturdy, this battery plate fits perfectly onto my camera's 15mm rod system. Batteries fit tight and secure. Super simple, yet fully adjustable, I'd venture so far as to say that the design is elegant...and practical!

I use it for my Smallrig 99 and I love it . Is an investment but is worth it .

Good product
This is a great product, its solid and works as intended. The only downside is the knob in its back which is hard to reach when its mounted to the rods and many times it still loose. Think if the not moving version is better for your rig

The small screws it came with are not great.
This does the job well. It holds my v mount battery in any position I lock it in. There is one thing about this model that just bothers me. The small flat screws that mount the rod clamps to the plate are not strong enough and one of them stripped on me while trying to remove it to change the position. It is permanently stripped and I can't get a grip on it yo get it out at all. Plus it's too soft to get it out using stronger tools. I've had to accept the final position of the mount and it's locked in there for good it seems. I'm having to adjust my camera rig accordingly because of this, which is a bit inconvenient. I love Smallrig and their products.

Never received
I ordered this but never received it, was refunded and attempted to reorder but also never received the item. Had to just cancel it all together. I love SmallRig but not sure what happened

the swivel does not hold so i dismantled it.
the versatility is amazing because it could be modified in a way that i was able to eliminate the middle section. the articulating arm is a waste since no matter how much you tighten it it will still slip somehow but luckily i got to remove and isolate the v-mount plate, ( i should have just bought the vmount plate solo in the first place) found a nato rail clamp from a different small rig equipment and attached it directly there with 2 screws. then i added a npf battery plate which in my case powers my monitor via a dummy battery.
