Nice Green lawn
Growing great except for where the birds got to snack on it But it does grow under shade and sun nice dark green almost looks like carpet Does not need a lot of water I run about a minute with 2 days off It seams to like that plus I use Spectracide fungus killer and weed and feed on it Would recommend I put down miracle grow potting soil down in the bad areas

Great results! Very pleased! 😀
I am very pleased with this grass seed! It sprouted quickly! It is thick, green & durable! Needs consistent watering to get started. It was hearty over the hot So Cal summer. Looks very nice when mowed. I have bought 4 bags so far to cover side yard and now working on back yard. It sprouts in all seasons in So Cal climate. Very pleased! Worth every penny! (Not a paid reviewer, just a homeowner w green grass!) These seeds are coming up nicely through the back yard weeds. Once the grass is thicker & mature, i will toss out some weed & feed to clear the weeds & maintain the grass! Yay! This is the real pic of my new grass! (Some leaves in the pic from the Santa Ana’s blowing)

Good but slower to grow than expected, but probably temp to blame
Seed was laid down and top soil on top on April 5th. Second picture, April 24th. Sprinkler was set to water 1 minute every 1.5 hours from 9am to 5pm. Overall seems good. Not all is growing yet. It's been cooler than usual with temps in the day in the mid 70s. Night at around 50s. We had few days in the low 80s. I do wonder how it will hold up for the next few years.

Do not buy.
Do not buy this. I would have given one star but most people read three star reviews. This product killed my grass and is growing weeds like crazy. Surely there is a class action suit against Scotts. Amazon, you’re selling defective product.

Great product nice smaller bag
Took about 7-8 days to germinate with 2 waterings a day , one around 5 pm , heavy soak about 9 pm , coming up great now , the fertilizer in the new seed bag seems to have even boosted what old grass we did have - note - I barely did a thin layer of new top soil , and we HEAVILY dethatched before mowing shortly to remove all the old moss prior to seed. Did not put soil on top of seed Reccomend this product for sure Washington USA

Nothing grew. Do not buy. Or buy it and throw your money away.
Let me tell you a story. A story of hope, excitement, and ultimately… grass-less despair. I was pumped when this arrived. “Grows green grass in just weeks,” it said. “Sun & shade mix!” Perfect! I had just the spot in my yard, a patch of land that had seen better days. I even imagined my 8-year-old running barefoot through the lush, green grass, laughing in slow motion like a stock photo. I followed the instructions like a lawn-cultivating monk. I aerated. I raked. I gently whispered encouragement to the soil. I evenly spread HALF the bag—because, you know, science. I watered it religiously, monitored the weather like a farmer, and waited. And waited. And waited some more. Spoiler alert: Not. One. Blade. Grew. At first, I thought maybe I overwatered it. Then I thought maybe I underwatered it. Then I started Googling, “Can you curse grass into existence?” because I was officially in denial. After two weeks, the only thing growing was my frustration and one very smug-looking dandelion that seemed to be mocking me from the side. I even bent down at one point and thought I saw a sprout. Nope. Just a weirdly shaped pebble. So now I’m left with half a bag of what I can only assume is very expensive brown confetti and a completely bald patch of lawn that now serves as a monument to disappointment. My child asked if we could paint the dirt green so it “looks like something is happening.” Unless your goal is to throw money directly into the ground and watch it not grow, I’d stay far, far away from this product. Consider donating your cash to your local nursery instead—or better yet, just tape some green construction paper to your yard. Thanks, Scotts, for teaching me that sometimes, dreams really do dry up and blow away with the wind.

Fast growing, lush, and green
My mom and dad used this seed a few years ago to grow grass in a large area and it came in beautifully! Thick, dark green, and so tall. They got theirs at Lowe’s…but if you can get it on Amazon then that’s what I’m doing lol. I planted a smaller area and watered consistently. It came in thick within just a few weeks.
