Everest Cooler/Lunch Bag, Aqua Blue, One Size

I purchased this lunchbox for my fiancé to take with him to work, and I was originally looking for something that wasn't bulky, yet still offered good insulation and kept food cool, long enough to get it to the fridge. I don't use ice packs with it, but I do like the fact that there is an front pouch (features a zipper closure) that allows you to separately store your ice packs, napkins, silverware and whatever else, aside from the main food compartment. This lunchbox isn't complicated, and that's what I love about it. It has one main, insulated compartment for food, that is also able to be wiped out and cleaned if needed, and is made very well.I love the fact that while he's been using it for going on three months now, it still looks like it just came out of the box. The stitching is placed very well, and the thread used is very sturdy, keeping this lunchbox in lasting condition. I also like the fact that it has an extra-long, adjustable nylon strap for over the shoulder carrying, as well as in your hand.The price alone is enough to seal the deal on this lunchbox, but also because the product is made of high-quality material and serves its purpose. I highly recommend this lunchbox for anyone that doesn't want to spend a fortune on transporting their lunch, and also doesn't want to have to replace it every six months due to extensive use. You won't be disappointed!

I decided to write a review for this, because the one I initially bought finally died. I bought it back in 2013! I'm getting a new one today.Before this, we were using the cheapy character ones for my son, with the white lining inside. I had to keep replacing them, because the lining would crack and tear, and the insulation would be exposed. The insulation would quickly get stained and yellow, and there was no way to clean it at that point.Picked out this one, and it's been great! It lasted 4 years for us, and it was really used a lot. My son used it at school from ages 6-10, several times a week... it's been shoved into book bags, dragged on the ground, and spilled in lots. I've put it in the washer tons of times and it held up. There was very slight pilling on the top flap, but nothing really noticeable, and nothing that made the bag unusable. The only reason I finally had to replace it was because one of the zipper handles broke. It was still okay to use temporarily because there's 2, but I wanted to get a new one in case the other one broke too, which would leave us no way to close it.I was surprised with how clean I was able to keep this bag. I was fully expecting to replace it sooner, not because anything had broken, but because it was getting dingy and gross. It never got gross! For every day freshening up, I would wipe it down inside with a disinfectant wipe, and leave it open to dry. For bigger messes, I threw it right into the washing machine with other laundry, and hung it up to air dry. The color wasn't as bright anymore, but had that zipper not finally broken, we'd still be using this.The size of this bag is great, too. My son is not just a "sandwich and crackers" kind of kid, he likes a variety of foods. Which means I needed to fit a variety of containers and sometimes up to 2 ice packs in there. For all the years we've had this, I can't remember a time where I was not able to fit everything.I'm replacing ours after 4 years, but I'm sure this will last a lot longer for others. As I said, our bag really took a beating, and I'm pleased I got this many years out of it. I'm reordering it right now, I have no need to look for a different brand.

I have bought so many different lunch bags, it's crazy. They all fail to meet hopes and expecations - won't fit reusable containers, can't fit ice packs AND food, cheap material, etc. Enter this bag.It's got a small footprint, but it is very room on the inside. It's hard to tell in the picture, but you can actually stack stuff higher than the zipper because the lid is about 1.5 inches tall. It fits lunch and snacks easily for me, along with a few ice pack things. For example, today I brought in this bag the following: two "brick" style ice packs, a 12-ounce can of soda, a sandwich, a snack-size bag of crackers, a sandwich bag half full of fresh pineapple, string cheese, a pear, and a few cookies and still had room to spare. It holds the ice packs, a can drink, and two ~6" square glad ware containers with room to spare. The front zipper pocket is great for a napkin and utensils. The strap is adjustable and goes to a good length. The top of the bag is sturdy enough that if I bring something to be heated, I can put it on top of the bag to carry it back to my office. My stuff stays cool and my ice packs are still frozen - and anything still in it is still cold - at 6 p.m. after having been packed at 7 a.m.Love this bag.

Perfect for my needs! Only 4 stars because a top handle in addition to the strap would have made it perfect. If you're looking for a small, professional-looking lunch bag to fit one meal, then this is the one for you. That's what I was looking for, and it delivered. Just be aware that it is a small size, for one meal and a drink or two meals and no drink (unless you put the drink in the side-pockets, which I haven't done yet). It also may not be entirely suitable to be used as a cooler, since there is not much space for ice, but there is room for an ice pack or two. Well-made and good quality too. No un-stitching gripes as of yet, and the seams seem sturdy. There is even a front pocket that fits my silverware perfectly! I recommend.

Bought two of these, one for each kids to use as lunch bags. The liner in one ripped after just a few weeks of use.
