Cute, functional and durable
I bought my first one of these in 2005. I love it! It is so cute and works well, easy to see the time, has a night light and a good alarm. This is my 3rd one same style and brand, almost 20 years later, so they lasted just under 10 years each. Definitely good value!

Adorable and true to color
I needed a little clock for my office and I wanted something small and cute. This fit the bill and it's just as adorable as I had hoped, color was spot on from the picture. Put the battery in and it started working immediately, easy to adjust the time, easy to set the alarm. The alarm is decently loud. I don't use it to wake me up, but I imagine if that's what you wanted it for, it would definitely do the trick. I would definitely recommend this clock if you're looking for something cute and little!

Perfect
This is the same mini green alarm clock that others are selling for almost double the price yet received glowing reviews. Not sure why this listing did not get such luck but I wanted to do it justice. I chose this one because it was the cheapest and I knew it’s the same China made item. It’s pretty retro green, very small, easy to use, alarm is loud enough but not annoying. Very happy with my purchase, exactly what I wanted. I move a lot so appreciate small, lightweight items. It is cheaply made indeed, the sides are not even on mine but if it falls apart within 30 days I’ll exchange it for the same and hope for the best.I like the vintage feel to this alarm clock and no brand printed on it.Edit: The price went up as soon as I posted a positive review. I don’t think it’s worth writing good reviews on Amazon because I’ve noticed that then the product's price increases and if I want to buy another of the same item it is more expensive than it should. Btw the clock is falling apart so I decreased a star, the frame is realllly cheaply put together. Still like it though.

Too fragile, will not buy again
UPDATE: The clock is too FRAGILE. Silly me turned the clock hands the wrong way when setting the alarm a few times and this seems to have completely broken the thing. It started constantly falling behind on time and then stopped working completely. I could hear the mechanism inside clinking as something clearly fell apart. I tried to open it and fix it but couldn’t because the plastic caps are easily broken by metal screws, so my attempt at fixing ended up breaking it even more. You get exactly what you buy. It’s loud enough to wake you up from the other side of the room, but not so loud as to wake up the entire building. The ringing is way more pleasant than any electric beeping. There is no ticking, and the alarm setting is precise enough that you don’t have to set it to 7am sharp or whatever if you don’t want to. The backlight is awesome, soft, not too bright. The time is easy to read from a distance even with my poor sight. Just remember to use a carbon zinc battery like the instruction says and this clock/alarm will serve you well.

Update: gave up shortly after it was too late to return it. Don't trust it.
The tripod base makes it tippy, so you do have to contend with the fact that it is gonna flop over as soon as you set it down. But it's loud when it should be and quiet the rest of the time, is cute as a button and keeps good time as well.UPDATE: After owning this clock for less than a year, the alarm stopped working. I tried a new battery, and that fixed it.But beware: if you are depending on this thing to wake you, be sure the battery is fresh! I learned the hard way.UPDATE#2 Forget it. I don't need an alarm to wake me up all the time, so I got this so I would have one when I need it. I made sure there were fresh batteries in it, and checked to be sure it was working before I went to bed. Woke up 45 minutes after it should have gone off and found the on/off switch had given up. I had to push up on it to get it to ring. Don't bother with this clock unless you want to be late for your appointments. It's all looks, and totally unreliable.UPDATE #3 It died, just being used as a bedside, non-alarm clock. It simply stopped working. I have had cheap battery powered clocks tick on for years, but this one gave up the ghost after about 7 years. Shame in this company for selling these adorable doorstops.

Cute but not very durable
Really cute design. I love the mint color. Its easy to use and set. Fairly loud for a classic twin bell alarm clock. The only problem is that it’s not very sturdy or durable. After a week when I woke up and grabbed it to turn off the alarm, it slipped out of my hand and fell on the floor. It didn’t look like anything was wrong with it. The batteries stayed in and the hands were still going. It was still keeping time correctly too. However, the next day when the alarm was supposed to go off nothing happened. I even thought that maybe I woke up and turned it off and then flipped the switch to on again to reset it for the next day but I was wrong. It happened again. Then I tested out the alarm and apparently the alarm part had broken. The clock itself is perfectly fine on the outside but some part of the alarm on the inside must have broken. So now I just have a super cute really quiet clock...with no alarm :(

It's a clock.
Use carbon zinc batteries to avoid replacing them every other month! That is specifically the type of battery suggested for this clock, all clocks and other low-drain devices. That said, this is a very cute item, it matches my seafoam furniture and the finish is actually flawless. My only issue is that it's probably not loud enough for use as an alarm clock IF you are a really deep & hard to wake up sleeper. That isn't the clock's fault, though. Seems to keep time accurately but it's kind of hard to read and set to specific minutes, but I'm also slightly dyslexic and have always had issues with reading analog clocks (the only appeal of this one for me was the aesthetic) so ymmv. It's still a nice decorative clock.
