Absolutely bloody brilliant
The storyline is excellent, brilliantly executed, slick, clever, desperately funny (I cried with laughter on a number of occasions) and poignant too. Truly superb read and I can't wait for book 2!

Love this great storyline
So really liked that it was a heist aspect something different. Well thought out plot and heist loving the characters and can't wait to see how they all move forward. Recommend to anyone in a rut or in need of something different, might get stuck in another one after but it is well worth the risk.

“Pinnacle” series book 1
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 October 2020Hayley’s plan is going exactly how she intended. Expelled from her latest elite school, her mother ends up sending her to the place she needs to be to recruit those with the right magical abilities to pull off the heist of a lifetime. Sent to the Magical Academy for Delinquents, Hayley is soon embroiled in a game of one-upmanship with fellow student Grayson; one of the men she wants to recruit. She also has her eye on Zavier and Malcolm, plus childhood friend Evan when he follows her to the academy.I thought this book was hilarious in places. The pranks Hayley and Grayson pull on each other had me laughing aloud. There are plenty of magical elements as students and teachers display a range of abilities, and ample action as Hayley lays out her plans whilst trying to survive a school life where the teachers don’t appear that concerned with a student’s safety. Considering the ending, I’ll be diving straight into book 2 “Delinquents Turned Fugitives”. 4½ stars

Where Do I Start?
Man, oh man. Where do I even start when the book was that good? I'm still left staring into the distance hoping the next book will come soon. Let me just say that if you're in two minds whether or not to read this book, you will not be disappointed if you take the leap. I'm so glad I did. The plot is so well thought out, the story flowing beautifully. The character development has got to be some of the best I've read. Honestly. The characters have depth and are so easy to fall in love with. They're all full of personality. And don't even get me started on the laughter. I cry laughed in a few places, and I knew then that I had a great book in my hands. The writing is great and will reel you in with very little effort. All in all, this is one of my favourite reads of 2020 so far. Brilliant.

This was such a good book that my heart was literally racing...
The final scene... holy hell that was amazing! And I didn't think I'd come to care for the FMC, but somehow... yup. It feels like we're besties now. The cliffhanger felt brutal, but I'm sure I'll survive if book two is anything like book one!One final thought... without giving too much away... in the Evan and the pheremones scene there was a particularly detailed description hidden amongst all the hilarity... how much research does one have to do into bear anatomy to write these books, I wonder?

Excellent
This book is so well polished that it shines - I was left with the feeling that the author had put heart and soul into making sure every word was the right choice. The characters have been developed wonderfully throughout the book and so far the RH theme has been low key so not overwhelming the well written plot. Also to have such a long length of book in these days when a lot hardly get much past the 100 pages was a great bonus ! Looking forward to book 2.
