Programmed thru myQ app
I was able to program Liftmaster 890Max on myQ app by simply Adding Device. It was my #1 FAQ and I couldn't find it anywhere. I have a Chamberlain Belt Drive MYQ system, so - while programming - I didn't have to deal with buttons and light colors. Just Add Device from myQ app. I bought it for my college son when MYQ Video Keypad battery died and he was stuck outside in the cold. (I have since purchased myQ hard-wire Power Adapter kit.)

Easy to program
I bought this so I don't have to leave my door open in my car. It was so easy to program. I travel alot and did not want to leave my door open in my car at the airport. Now I feel safer knowing it is with me. Light weight and fits on my keychain.

Works fine, but the instructions could be clearer
Would be nice to read through a set of instructions follow them and have the product work, but I had to go through a YouTube video.Works fine now but for a $40 door opening fob, I would think the instructions would be specifically for this model and not three variations.

Excellent 890MAX
This is just what I needed. Thank you! Mine did not come with the little split ring on it, but that’s okay. Came in factory box with instructions. Easy to program, has great range. CR2032 batter is included.

Great Spares For My Personal Use
I have very limited mobility and purchased this to open and close the garage doors (3 car garage) from the house. This saves me a walk through a crowded garage, and/or an extra 25 foot walk to the garage entry door to access the open/close buttons (our garage doors do not have controls on the outside of the garage and the doors can be operated from the vehicle or the inside wall of the garage near the entry door).I actually ordered 2 of these (in case one fails), and took the second one for a drive--it actually operated the doors from 3 blocks away (the originals only work within 1 block). I now keep the second one on my work bench (diagonally from the corner of the garage where the openers are mounted) so that I can open/close the doors for ventilation without having to make my way across the whole garage--remember I am extremely mobility limited, and not necessarily lazy.So far, both of these units have worked flawlessly, and have dependently served my purposes well......and they were half the price my local dealer wanted.
