100Pcs 1W LED Beads High Power Light-Emitting Diode SMD for DIY Lighting Lamp(Warm White 3000K)

Have worked through half of the 100 warm white LEDs in my first order and they've all tested out just fine. Definitely put a current-limiting resistor on these, I did an initial hookup to a 3.3v @ 4A power supply and it was blindingly bright. As you'd expect, the LED got hot very quickly and was on its way to a quick failure. A ~100 ohms resistor (brighter) and ~200 ohms (dimmer/softer) both provide aesthetically appealing light levels while keep the LED cool to the touch and thus ensuring long life. Which resistor is best for your use will boil down to what you are choosing to create out of these LEDs.Positive & Neg voltages are indicated by + and - symbols stamped onto the legs. However, occasionally the stamping is faint and some simple testing is required. You'll need quite a few of these for anything other than accent lighting, so it's a good thing that the price is so very reasonable.

Accidentally bought the yellow tint rather than white but they work fine. Just don’t use those little 1/4w resistors

I thought they would be white light but they are more of a hint of yellow. Not as bright or white compared to ones I purchase elsewhere in the past.
