Alexa Built In ! Easy to set up !
I'm impressed. I bought one as a test product, within an hour of testing... I bought a further two units. We're using them as prizes for a community radio station competition, but thought I should test one first to check it works as described. It does and the volume out of this little box is impressive. (I'm no audiophile or brand snob) This speaker will certainly deliver. It has three modes... wifi (which was easy to setup), Bluetooth and aux in. The device streams content from your wifi. Ask Alexa to play your local radio online.... and voila ! Easy peasy. The price of this is amazing. Well worth the money. The unit is weighty and feels solid. The leatherette case gives it that retro feel. For those who don't know how Smart Speakers work, they need your smart phone to download an app for the set up. But once that's done, you don't really need the app after that, but don't delete it. Speak slowly and clearly for Alexa and you'll have no issues with this amazing smart speaker. Well done i-Box on a great product.

Works as a bluetooth speaker but not much else
If you want a bluetooth speaker that looks like an old radio this might be the thing to buy. For anything else you can probably find products that are much more simple to set-up. It's really complicated, requiring a tablet or smart phone and installation of apps. Even when I, finally, got it all set up - the only thing it wants to play is Amazon's own subscription music service. I'm not able to get it to play BBC Sounds or the Spotify subscription I already pay for. If I'd known I would need to pay an additional £11 per month to listen to music I can get elsewhere for free I would never have bought this product.

Good quality and excellent value for money
Over the past year i have become a devotee of Boom Radio. Unfortunately Boon is only available via DAB+ or Internet and my trusty Pure Evoke DAB could not pick DAB+. I've tried a couple of DAB+ radios but the signal in my area is very poor so i decided to try an Internet Radio.I was on a pretty tight budget so decided to try the Century ( a review site listed it in its top 10). I was worried that being at such a low price it might not be up to scratch but i was very pleasantly surprised, - its very good. It has a nice warm tone to it, its not left wanting at high or low tones and works very well especially with the built in Alexa.Setting up was a little tricky, you have to download the App for a phone or tablet from their website - its not available in the Google App store (don't know about Apple). Once the app is one the phone you connect the phone to the radio's internal wifi network and enter the home wifi credentials after which the radio connects to the home wifi. When you power on the radio it take a minute or so to connect to the wifi and initialise Alexa but it announces each stage as it completes. Once fully connected its just a case of asking Alexa as you would a normal Echo device.Bluetooth works exactly as you would expect a Bluetooth speaker too.

Note the app required to use is now defunct - you need to contact manufacturer to get a download
This item is well priced and looks and feels great - heavy, solid, qualityBUT to set it up (ie to connect to your wifi) the only way to do it is to download the i-box app - BUT this is no longer available as it's an old, defunct app that you won't find on Playstore or usual places.I assumed I'd have to return it, as it was effectively useless without the app, but I contacted the manufacturer [email protected] and they replied in a couple of days with the link to a place to download the old app. Once installed it was ok and I have the radio working. It doesn't work on all the normal Alexa commands (I think it may be an early version of the Alexa software?) but I can get it to play all BBC. When I say 'Alexa, what's the news?' (which works fine on my other wi-fi speakers) it doesn't do anything - though I guess in time I'll work out which command is required! So overall - nice product, well priced (presumably as the software is on the way out?).

No Alexa via the ibox App.
Works well as Bluetooth speaker, well made and looks good. Due to the model being few years old the apponly works on newer models. Can Amazon Help?
