These rings seems to be faulty. They would not stay on and maintain charge or connection unless plugged into a charger. As soon as you took it off the charger it died and disconnected from the iPad so couldn’t be used as intended. Had to return them as there is also no helpful online info about whether anything can be done to resolve the issue.

I honestly was pleasantly surprised by this little pad. The sound kits you can download through the Specdrums app are actually quite good, and true to advertising you can use the ring on other household items of the same colors found on the pad which makes for a fun experience for the kids. My only complaint is the battery for the ring is really bad. We get out it like 15 minutes of playing time when it’s been fully charged and even less if it’s not fully charged which I found a bit disappointing. But other than that it was a fun and pleasant experience!
