Fully operational straight out of the box and with a 12v adapter it has three non-flicker and dimmable LED lamps. Useful to be able to dim the lamps for different stages of plant development. Also handy to be able to have just one, two or all three lamps lit. The in-line control setter is easy and obvious to use and it is a doddle to set the daily repeating operational hours. You can also simply switch the lamps on and off if you wish to have different cycles of operation to take account of the weather and the amount of natural sunlight. The lamps do not get hot so there is no fear of seedlings or plant leaves or flowers getting scorched.Really quite surprised that it is this good and the flexible goosenecks mean the lamps actually stay where they are set without flopping. The 12v adapter gets slightly warm, which is to be expected, and is definitely far superior to fiddling around with a usb connector that has a much lower voltage capacity.Just hope my seedlings and plants appreciate it!

Arrived on time and very well packed and easy to open. Nothing to assemble and well constructed. User manual provided in the packaging. The plug is sealed so no need to worry about a fuse. You can have one, two or three wands on a one time, brightness at max is very bright and all controlled via a switch that is on the electric lead that is very long and the timer works just fine. The clip to attach is very strong and I have attached it to a tubular pole that currently holds domestic lights. Absolutely excellent product and well worth the cost.

I've been looking for a grow lamp to improve my vegetable and cactus growth and this one seems just right for me not too expensive but feels well made. The Clip is large and holds nicely, the power and controller lead is a good length and the lamps seem very bright on full. The info says its full spectrum LED which is what I was looking forAfter testing for a couple of days I noticed one of my succulents has already perked up which is good to see, it probably thinks its having a tanning salon day!I'll get full use early next year when I start off all my veg seedlings but so far very pleased with my purchase and would reccomend.

I've had a few different grow lights in my time, but if I was not using a proper grow Bulb, ( as u have to buy bulb n fitment separate that way) I would definitely recommend this one, full spectrum, bright but not blinding bright, it's good for if u have a few plants on different levels or shelf's, as can aim each stem. Timmer is really easy to use, looks quite tastefull as all chrome, as a stronge clip with padding,so won't mark whatever u clip it on to, all in all I'd give it 8 out off 10, especially how cheap it is as ull pay more for a descent grow Bulb, but brilliant to give that extra boost of light, hope that helps, but I was quite impressed, and still going strong after a couple of months.

Great little plant lamp! The timer is very handy. However, the one observation I would make is that the timer can only be set so that the lamp is on for either 3 hours, 6 hours or 12 hours - it's a long jump from 6 hours to 12 hours! I live in southern Scotland and, at the moment, the day light is approximately 9 hours or there abouts. I grow epiphytic cacti and would like to approximately match the current 9 hours of natural light, as my plants are in an area where they receive natural, though weak, light. However, this lamp only allows me to set the lamp to come on for 12 hours, which is too much, or 6 hours, which isn't enough. Even on the shortest day, there will be a minimum of around 7 hours of natural light, so I'll set the light for 6 hours nearer the time, but a 6 hour jump isn't anything like a natural progression, so an extra setting of 9 hours would be helpful. Still a good lamp though.

Came in an awful scratched state, timer light constantly flashes and the quality of the light is poor. Will be returned.

Used for giving my seedlings an early start Jan-May 2023. Had to initially randomly press the buttons on the control unit for the lights to come on, they did eventually and then the on/off button worked fine. Didn't bother trying to faff with the timer, just turned them on/off morning and night.This year, 2024, even more trouble trying to fire them up, after they hadn't been used since last Spring. Again, eventually came on after randomly pressing buttons for a minute or two, much worse than last year.Then tried plugging them directly into the wall plug socket rather than an extension lead. Came on straight away!!! But they're not close enough to my seedlings now, so it's either re-organise the room, or get some new lights from Gathera, a UK-based company I came across yesterday.

Excellent investment! So good I bought 2! The lights are very bright and easy to control. All functions work perfectly, with timing to recreate day and night. Just leave it and it will continue the cycle as directed with 3, 6 or 12 hrs light in every 24 hr period. I bought and installed one a few weeks back and I’ve got my tomatoes, peppers, chillis and aubergines all growing (in January). New one has expanded my indoor growing station to an impressive capacity - in readiness for early planting outdoors and in green house. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
