Awesome charger I currently been using to charge aaa batteries 12 at a time, seems to charge fairly quick I like the display to see status. So far it has been working very well. Great value saves from buying batteries every other week.

The display is quite bright, nearly uncomfortably so, but easy to read. Easy to use thanks to the inclusion of the usb-c.

If you need to quickly charge a bunch of NiMh or NiCd batteries all at one time, then this charger should be useful. I was drawn to it because of its 8-battery capacity and the fact that it is an automatic switcher for both battery types. Charging progress is monitored through the display for each individual battery. Battery discharging is also available at the push of a button. Power is routed to the unit through a provided USB cable, but the user needs to provide a charging cube (5 Volt, 2 Amp Output). My unit came with a slightly scratched display. This may be an artifact of the manufacturing/packaging process and could be prevented with a protective/removable plastic film. The internal battery charging prongs did not provide enough seating pressure to prevent sideways sliding, and I suspect that this design limitation is preventing batteries from being charged completely. The battery holds should fit snuggly as found in other battery brands (e.g., Eneloop NiHh chargers).

This was a great purchase after my 4 slot smart charger stopped working! I especially like the discharge button, it's helping to restore life in several old AAAs that I thought were worn out 😀

It charged up 8 2400ah batteries in about 3 hrs. Great buy.

I have an older EBL battery charger but wanted to get a new one that shows you the status of the battery chargin. My old one fots both AAA and AA batteries snugly in the unit. Easy to put in and easy to remove. This new version is of poor quality. The metal where the AAA batteries’ + end go is flimsy. The AAA batteries do not fit snugly - the + end slides/wobbles back and forth. You can’t have good electrical contact if the battery is not snugly in place. It seemed very dangerous to me and Imwas concerned it might cause electrical shock or battery explosion. The battery shouldn’t be sliding side to side. So I didn’t even plug it in to try to charge any batteries. Am returning it, Given the quality of my old one that’s 5+ years old, I was surprised and dismayed at the flimsy poor quality of this model.
