Delivered Better Than Advertised
I've always been reluctant to order used books since I am an "underliner." It's kind of like my personalbonding with the pages. Hence, when I saw the '501 Spanish Verbs' book--and especially when I noticed it was marked only as GOOD condition--I was reluctant to buy. The comparative price (used vs new) compelled me to do so, however. All this to say that beyond the prior owner's name on a blank, initial page, the book was in perfect condition. I won! Add to this near immediate shipping and you're reading the words of a highly satisfied customer. Job well done Seller!

Conjugations:Beginners and Advanced & How to use the Tenses!
I am married to a Latino that speaks Spanglish, so I thought I should learn Spanish myself. My spouse although speaks Spanish ALSO lacks how to properly conjugate and use the verbs. I bought this book, in hopes that it would conjugate the verbs and explain the tenses. This book does EXACTLY that! The Spanish language does not use the same concept as the English language where the person who is doing the action (verb) is identified and then the verb follows. The Spanish language incorporates the verb with the person as ONE. Example: English - I close the door. Spanish- Cierro la puerta. This book conjugates the verb in ALL person(s) and breaks down the verb tense; past, present and future. Please see below for the what the book provides for beginners and advanced speakers of spanish:Beginners- simple conjugation verbs (past, present and future), tests and drills to determine your strengths and weaknesses, helpful sentences for tourists, how to properly use the verb in sentences, English translations and many more.Advanced- grammatical terms and usages, pronouns and other tense forms other than the simple basics, expressions and idioms understand and communicate better with Spanish speakers and many more useful tools. This book is the ONE and ALL book for SPANISH VERBS! A MUST HAVE to advance in learning Spanish!

The many wonderful features of this book
This book will be a huge help for anyone wishing to learn Spanish. Some of the features are: Formation of the Present and Past Participles in Spanish; Common irregular present participles, with examples; Uses of the present participles; Formation of the past participle; Common irregular past participle, with examples; Uses of the past participle; Passive Voice and active voice, with examples; Principle parts of some important Spanish verbs, with examples; The seven simple tenses and seven compound tenses in both English and Spanish; this book is very detailed!!!If I were to look up a verb, let's go with 'hablat' which means to speak. I would turn to the correct page, and on the page would be listed each of the seven simple and seven compound tenses, with the correct word given. So, for this example, let's say, I look under Present Indicative (An action or a state of being at the present time) Hablo espanol: I speak Spanish, I do speak Spanish, I am speaking Spanish. That's not all. At the bottom of the page, is either "Words and expressions related to this verb" or "Common idiomatic expressions using this verb"Hope this helps

Tap into verbs. They're the backbone of language.
This is a fantastically useful book. Just in the first few minutes of reading I learned more about the rules of conjugation than I have in the past year. I highly recommend that anyone who gets this book read the introduction before just using the book as a quick reference. I bought both the Kindle version and the physical copy a few months ago, so I always have it handy.I bought the book at the suggestion of a Spanish language instructor. What he said made sense -- you can get by with just a few words in Spanish. You can point for nouns if you really need to. But verbs? You really can't do anything without verbs. They're the backbone of a language.

Not very interactive
This book , which was in really poor condition, is just an alphabetical list of verbs, in Spanish. So you already have to know the verb beforehand. Its not a practical list at all. Other language courses start with useful verbs for everyday life , and then elaborates . This is just a list . being it is a waste of money as you can easily look these up online worth Google translate

501 verbs (and some)
Best reference book I have ever had. Lived 11 years in Spain and this was my bible for learning the language. Lost it now I have replaced it and so welcome.

If you are learning Spanish....
After using DuoLingo (really good as a starter) and decide you need to move on then this book is essential. Looks complicated to start with but if you are being tutored its a must.
