OTC 1027 5-Ton Reversible Jaw 'Grip-O-Matic' Puller - Long 2/3 Jaw (Mechanical) Silver

I like OTC tools but the one I got isn't perfect. the black part that the 3 jaws connect to isn't true which makes one of the jaws slightly offset. Too late to return it now. :(

Nice product, the price is a little more hefty. But definitely worth it, its all metal.There are no plastic pieces on this.Had no problems taking out a wheel bearing that had seen 300k.

Worked perfectly, BUT I wish it had extensions or the tip should be designed to take on an extension of some sort. Was shy about an inch or so pushing the rear axle through on my BMW so I had to use a makeshift pipe cap. Was able to complete the work but should've been able to accept another extension.

I needed to order this puller to replace one that came in a set I bought locally. I was trying to remove a pulley from my bush hog finish mower. The pulley refused to move and the threads on the puller I was using bound up and it's now useless. This puller didn't do the job but the threads are still fine after the same torque. The shaft of the spindle actually had to be beat off with a 5 lb. mall.

Quality USA made puller.. I bought a cheap on at HF. and promptly stripped the drive screw. This one is hardened steel.. you can pull a freight train with this one.. ;0)
