Too easy; plug in the walkies, give it a few hours and you're done
Very pleased with this product. I priced the one that had multiple charging ports in a single strip but too pricey. This product had a great price point and value for the money. I happen to have 6 baofangs radios that we use for scout camp. This so simplifies life compared to having to find 6 plugs, all the cables and the little individual charging docks. This instead is neat and functional. And it is plug and play: just slide in the radio, give them a few hours until the lights go green and you are done. Just make sure the radios are turned off and that you slot them correctly.

Its a charging cradle for multiple radio. As simple as can be...
This allowed me to get rid of 4 individual Baofeng radio chargers and put them all into a single unit for charging, PLUS two additional slots for extra batteries. It's as simple as can be. Plug in your charger power supply into this 6-slot cradle, put it somewhere on your workbench then drop in your radios or spare batteries (obviously for your UV-5R radios). So far, it's working as intended. Radios and batteries fit in the slots nicely and no issues encountered with bad electrical connections so far.

Nice multicharger
Nice for keeping multiple radios charged. The on off button is great. You have leave it plugged in but turn it off to keep from over or constant charging.Negative is that it has the same loose fit like all this brand chargers, it is not like professional radio charging racks.

Great, compact, no more tangled wires.
I love this charger. I have 2 of these 6 bay charging units and it is a game changer. I no longer need to deal with a tangled mess of wires. I will be purchasing more of these as I grow my kit. It's definitely easier to use than the individual chargers.

This thing is great!
This charger is awesome. I can charge 6 of my Baofeng radios at once. It can be a mixture of radios UV-5R, BF-F8HP, UV-5R plus. Regular batteries or extended. You can set the whole radio in the charger or you can just slip the battery itself into the charger.

Sadly, It Simply Doesn't Work
I really wanted this item to work for me. I hate the tangle of wall wart cords for individual chargers for my Baofeng radios. This device promised to clean up the mess and give me six neatly arrayed charging slots and only one cord. Unfortunately this device is a huge disappointment. I should also note that everything I say below about this device applies to its predecessor, which I returned for the same reasons that I will return this one.1. Apparently Baofeng has changed its charging/charged LED convention. With previous chargers, the LED was steady green when unoccupied, red when charging and, again, steady green when the device was charged. Now, an unoccupied slot shows an alternating green/red LED (really, kind of annoying) which is supposed to go to steady red while charging and steady green when charged. I say "supposed to" because on this charger the slots continue to flash red/green even when a device is inserted. Doesn't matter whether the radio or battery is charged or uncharged. Mostly, they just keep flashing.2. Sometimes a radio or battery, when inserted into a slot, WILL show a steady red (charging) or a steady green (charged). However, when the radio or battery is moved to another slot, that LED continues to flash red/green. Even more confusing, if the device is moved back to the slot where it previously had a steady red or green LED, it most often just keeps flashing.3. Finally, while I was doing my evaluation, the LED for one of the slots just went dark.4. I put a digital voltmeter on the charger. Each slot showed 8.5 volts between the + and - terminals. So, it's possible that the batteries would eventually charge. However there would be NO INDICATION that charging had started, was proceeding or had completed. Just a bunch of flashing red/green LEDs. So, flashing LEDs and a charger, but with no obvious connection between the two.In summary, while I would have dearly loved to get rid of all of my individual radio chargers, this is not the device that will accomplish that end.
