The Real Deal!
I followed directions to the T and...@#%*! THIS STUFF WORKS!!As a repair tech I'm well familiar with "stop leak" products used in many industries. Some work better than others and exact circumstances can make all hit or miss. I was actually pretty skeptical about the ability of a working solution (punintended) to fix my good ol' 4-person hot tub, the victim of a winter power failure that caused freezing in the water lines. That would be a fatal condition for most tubs, but NOT the hard-won "portable" tub that I vowed I would never try moving again in my lifetime. Not that there's all that much of that remaining, but all the more motivation to bring my beloved "Think Tub" back to life. So, after rebuilding the heater (too old and costly to replace) and replacing the pump, it was with INDESCRIBABLE sadness I discovered the tub was leaking water from points unknown at rate that would make it more suited as a planter. My indefatigable nature--exacerbated by $200 repairs already expended--led me to Fix-a-Leak. Reviews were surprisingly positive, but even if it wasn't snake oil I didn't have much confidence it would work for my potentially sieve-like tub. After some reflection I decided I could spring for another $22 before crying "uncle!" May well have turned out to be the best $22 I've ever spent! It took me 3 months to garner enough courage and emotional fortitude (oh, and time) to carry out the steps required to check the stuff out. Had I opened the bottle immediately I may have been encouraged enough to try sooner, when the weather was more conducive to the company's online "warm weather" instructions. No matter, they provide instructions for freezing weather as well and those are the ones I followed. Admittedly between those instructions and the actual liquid characteristics I was encouraged. It made sense. The solution is viscous enough, and obviously contains particulates, probably rubberized, that, when well-suspended in the tub water, could coagulate at the leak points and, eventually, HOPEFULLY build up to the point of flow stoppage. In my case, THOSE LITTLE BUGGERS DID JUST THAT!After a single treatment using the 1/3 bottle recommended for a hot tub, the leakage appeared to be completely stopped. The manufacturer mentions that without the drying-out period that is infeasible during cold weather I may need to re-apply come Spring. No worries. There are still 2 applications left in my bottle. Maybe I'll be motivated to update this review down the line. For now I have no compunction about giving this product my unreserved recommendation for pools and hot tubs. I'm a believer!

This Product Really Works.
This stuff is amazing and I highly recommend it. I have an inground swim spa that is about 35 years old. It started leaking about 3 years ago, just minimally at first and then it got progressively worse. Finally I hired a leak specialist last year who found cracks in the skimmer and 3 valves. He sealed the leaks in the skimmer with epoxy and told me where I could buy new valves which I did and replaced the old ones. Cost me $600. However the leaking continued to the point where I just gave up on trying to find a fix and hen I heard about Fix a Leak. I figured what the heck so I bought the 32 once bottle. I watched a dozen videos on You Tube and finally decided to ty it a week and a half ago. I followed the directions exactly. I drained the spa and refilled it and no leaks whatsoever . A really fantastic product.

Legit. It's the real deal!
This stuff is legit! I have a 2017 model health spa, 600 gallon, 6-8 seater. I was losing close to 6 in of water a day. Serious leaks. After using a total of 40 oz over three separate treatments, along with fixing a crack which was not the majority of the week, this stuff has fixed every single leak I had. I counted over 40 different places where my tub was dripping. So basically 100 bucks, I saved myself probably a $3,000 repair.

Good, inexpensive temporizing fix
works well but needs to periodically be re-applied. Follow directions very closely. Still some leaking, but very managable.

It will stop your hot tub leak FAST.
It works better than expected. My hot tub slow leak stopped in less than 3 hours. I used a half bottle which was way over the recommended dose.

Could be a miracle! Fingers crossed!
My spa has been out of commission for years. When it started leaking the repair company replaced heaters, pumps, etc. But couldn't find the leak. They suggested a different product to stop the leak. Tried it twice over the years. No joy.Recently I decided that if I can't get it going it would be time to chop it up and junk it.Then I did a search here and found this product! With amazing reviews! Ok, I'll try it!So now I've completed the first two phrases of the repair process. 1) 2 days of circulating the water with the product2) 48 hours not circulating, watching for signs of leakageNow... 3) minimum of 72 hrs empty and dry to cure the fix.I will update with the results in a few days.Edit: It held fine for a day. I'm thinking that 80 hrs wasn't enough cure time. So, I'm trying again. Began 2 days ago. The leak stopped very quickly. No leaks still. Today is day 1 of the 2 day watch. Tomorrow evening I will drain it, wipe it down and let it cure. It's mid month, I'll leave it dry until the end of the month.Fingers crossed!

it works
I do not understand how it works but it does. I have noticed that it seems to lose effectiveness and I need to periodically re-apply.
