Fresh, Fragrant, and Smooth Jasmine Tea
We bought this jasmine loose leaf tea for the office and it’s been a big hit. The aroma is fresh and fragrant without being overpowering, and the flavor is smooth, clean, and very relaxing. It brews beautifully and doesn’t become bitter. It’s a great quality tea that feels a bit special for everyday office use. We’ll definitely be restocking.

Incredible Flavor!
I spent some time in Taiwan and fell in love with Puer (Puerh, Pu'erh) tea. When I got back to the States, it was hard to find a decent Puer with the taste that I remembered having tasted in Taiwan. After several years of looking, I stumbled on to this tea here on Amazon and tried it. Bingo! This blend is excellent. The flavor and color of this tea is simply wonderful. Not to mention the incredible aroma! Depending on how long you steep it, the strength is either light or nice and "heavy." I prepare mine in a traditional Chinese clay teapot allowing it to steep for 3 minutes for the first cup, 5 minutes for the second, and 12 for the third. You can use the leaves for more than three cups but, for me, the flavor starts to wane a little too much. As I'm letting the tea cool down before I take the first sip, I hold my cup up to my nose and just breathe in. One can almost say that this tea is an experience and has become my go-to tea. I am currently on my third bag and will continue to order it as long as it is available! And yes, I highly recommend this Puer tea.

Fine tea for a good price
I'm not much of a tea expert, but when I calculated the actual amount of tea that I get in tea bags, im pretty sure I'm buying more paper than tea. This is a lot of tea for the money, & I like the way it tastes. I call that a win.for me.

It's okay for the price
This is a decent starting shou pu'er for the cheap price. The tea cake was pretty easy to break pieces off of and has a nice earthy aroma. Other reviews mention a slight fishiness to the scent, which is present, but it does not reflect the taste. The color of the tea when brewed is intensely dark like coffee and after brewing smells mushroom-y in a pleasant way. I washed the first two steeps and drank the third and I feel that the taste is somewhat weak, but it is calming and uplifting nonetheless.

DELICIOUS!
I know multiple infusions are possible with a good quality tea but every other tea I've tried to do this with have produced a rather insipid brew on the second round. Not this tea! The first infusion was outstanding: clean and robust. The second infusion was nearly as full flavored but it was the third infusion that surprised me. The overall flavor of the tea was not sacrificed but was just a bit more delicate - perfect chilled for that afternoon iced tea. This one's going on subscription.

Disgusting! Metallic tasting! Total Waste of Money!
I have been drinking Dragon Well tea daily for decades so have pretty good sense from experience of what makes for quality tea and what doesn't. The only reason I am seeking new vendor/source for dragonwell is because the San Francisco business I reliably bought from for many many years has fallen on hard times and is going out of business. Not only was their tea top grade, but also shipped quickly, used quality packaging and very affordable for daily use. I usually bought 1.5 lbs. at a time. I have looked everywhere on internet for reasonably priced, quality bulk loose dragon well and didn't realize it would be so challenging, especially when returns on food items is not allowed. The ONLY reason why I bought this brand/source is because of the reviews. And it boggles my mind how so many other buyers thought their tea was great. Granted, not all bought dragonwell tea. But still! Here's list of the many reasons why this tea was SO AWFUL and WASTE OF MONEY. BTW, I used same brewing methods, same filtered water, same water temperature, same storage containers, etc. 1. The most glaring issue for me is the **sharp, repulsive metal taste of the brewed tea.** I seriously question where this vendor sourced their tea in China and whether tea was grown at low elevations near the heavily polluted industrial areas of Zhejiang. It's not just that the taste is repulsive. I am concerned if the tea leaves absorbed through air/soil heavy metals known to be in this region due to the heavy pollution. Heavy metals in sufficient quantities can destroy one's health. 2. The other very noticeable sign/difference to me was that, even with using same quantity of leaves for my morning brew, after 2.5-3 min. of brewing with 90 degree hot filtered water, the **brewed leaves hardly expanded!** It is my understanding from tea experts one possible reason is that leaves don't expand either because they are cheap source or leaves are old. Probably this issue also contributed to awful taste. 3. Packaging is cheap and possibly another reason for metallic taste. I have always kept tea leaves in sealed containers or the zipped black pouches that my regular vendor sent them in. This tea came in box that doesn't seal and inside box flimsy cheap gold aluminum foil. Perhaps another reason why the tea tasted so metallic. I can't even drink the all the brewed tea from these leaves beyond 1-2 days. It may be coincidence but I feel sleepy after I have my 1-2 morning cups of this tea and my throat feels dry/scratchy. It was a total waste of money and I have thrown out tea, even though I have little dragonwell tea from my old stock. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Fresh and Fragrant!
Since visiting an Asian market a few months back, I’ve been craving some high quality tea so I gave this one a chance. The tea arrived sealed and fresh, and the flavor is absolutely fragrant, floral, and pleasant! You can also adjust the strength of your tea by the number or pearls you add to your water! Will be buying more when I run out :)
