There’s No comparison to Malcolm X and his View on Racism and what he was trying to do to elevate Equality. Martin Luther King was a admirable Civil rights Leader; but I will never agree with him and his terms of “Turn the other Cheek”. Basically teaching the people to continue to be brutalized;..when they already have suffered enough. It’s time to demand Freedom and Civil Rights besides just preaching Sermons about It.

This book really gave me a good understanding of the core differences between X and King, I did not know 97% of what I read prior, and it was delivered in a way that made it an easy and highly enjoyable read! I see now how different they were and yet like velvet on a steel fist one served the other well. spoiler alert:... sad endings.

This book includes very interesting information and explain in depht point of view of the two different civil right leaders and explain how they were both essential character fur success, this books also shows the importance of religion and churches during the civil right movement and some great speeches from Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. This book is very accessible and goes directly to the essential informations. I loved it !

Books in good condition, like purchasing it at a Barnes and noble. I don't remember the packaging but I'm almost sure it was a bubble wrap bag. The book itself is oddly enough interesting. I had to buy it for a history class, but im impressed. Gave insight into both civil rights leaders first hand, from interviews and speeches

The author's organization of the information he had was solid. Having to read this book as an over-worked college student, it was difficult to get through. I found the reversal of attitudes and roles between the two men intriguing. If you're a big civil rights buff or want to know more about these two figure heads, this is the book. If you're looking for something to assign to your honors level students... well, not so much :) (we read this book after Anne Moody's Coming of Age in Mississippi, the contrast is what ruined it for me I think.)

This book is a relatively quick.read and well organized. The author used the settings and along with speeches and interview by MLK and Malcolm X to weave a picture of the U.S. And the struggle for civil.rights.

it was in great condition when I received it. Altogether a great book with great speeches and interviews included from MLK and MX.
