I am using this razor to cut my own hair (french bob) and I love it. It is easier to handle than the hair scissors and gives me effortlessly that unperfect look that I like. My boyfriend also likes trimming his beard with this. The price is really great for 10 blades!

I have seen these texture razors used so many times in haircuts and heard much about how much they can add to a hairstyle so I wanted to try one and this was the first result. It was a bit pricier than other options but it had ten extra razor blades and good reviews. I decided to get the fun multicolor one and expected it to look a bit cheap but I was shocked by how nice and weighty it felt. The razor also comes with a nice plastic guard and sleeve to carry it with your tools. I've used it on a couple haircuts now and although I'll have to see later on how much it is able to add to the haircut, for one of them I was able to achieve a good amount more volume on the top of the head by thinning out towards the ends. The main two ideas on how to use it I have observed in Dan Gregory's videos is if you thin out towards the root, you can achieve more collapse of the hair, and if you thin out closer to halfway-end of the hair, you can get the hair to stand up more. I would only say the finger hole isn't the most practical for the angles you want when thinning out the hair. That is not a fault of the product though as it is designed like most other products of this type. I don't typically use it perpendicular to reduce length to the hair but if you are doing that the product willl be nice to hold. I would highly recommend this product.

I actually would give this 4.5 stars if I could. It is effective and easy to use. The blade it comes with is very sharp and I like that it comes with 10 refills. Great for cutting, tapering, and thinning. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the fact that it comes with absolutely no instructions. For someone who has never used this type of product before that would have been very helpful. Fortunately I was able to find good advice from posts by other Amazon users on the fine points of use and how to safely change the blade. It would have been nice, though, if that information came with the product itself. Excellent product. Great value.

Excellant razor for trimming wigs.

I’m not a stylist and just wanted something for a quick choppy look at home in between cuts. I originally bought the Feather, which is not nearly as good as this and eventually rusted to boot. The Facon is sharp as hell and I accidentally took a huge piece out of the front of my hair bc I was used to the force of the Feather. This thing flies through hair with almost no pressure. It’s super easy to use. Wish i had bought it first and saved the money.
