Swallow Static Window Clings Anti Collision Window Decals for Bird Strikes, Glass Awareness Stickers, Stop Birds Flying into Windows, Set of 20

We’ve had lots of birds flying into our windows, so I bought a medley of these sorts of clings from different companies. They all seem pretty similar and work well. I actually have a sheet of this sort of cling that I put up on our other windows for privacy, so I felt pretty equipped for the installation.With the sheet, the worst part is trying to get the cling separated from the backing. It’s on a level with the most stubborn of produce bags that just WILL NOT come apart when in the grocery store. So the reason I’m reviewing this one in particular mere minutes after finishing the installation process is because, unlike the other clings I purchased, this company includes all of the clings on a couple pages that make it SO easy to remove. I have a little collage going on my window so I spent a ton of time trying to remove and prep the various birds and circles I also purchased separately, and then when I got to these feathers it was a nice little sigh of relief and my nerves got a break.So I can’t yet speak to their effectiveness yet, but I feel pretty good about it. I’ll update if birds keep bashing themselves against my window despite the clings. This company also included pretty comprehensive but easy to understand instructions.

I followed the directions (unlike, from the sounds of it, the people who gave this item a 2 rating. One didn.t seem to put them on correctly and the other put them on the outside of the window instead of the inside- presumably since he said the birds pecked them off). Anyway, they stick fine and look nice but oh, were they a pain in the ass to get on the window. Why? In order to get them to stick on, you have to take the sheer backing off them (kind of like taking the backing off a bandaid). The problem is that there is no way to get the damn sheer peice off with any ease. There's no "tab" to start the separation process, and it feels impossible to get the two peices pulled apart. What should take 2 seconds ends up being an aggravated 5 minutes for EACH decal. The decals should come on one single sheet- like stamps do- as that would make it easier to pull them apart. Oh yes, and once you separate the two pieces, the sheep part gets all clingy and won't come off your fingers, making for more fun antics. I've just finally gotten them all up. Don't yet know if they are good bird deterrents or not. Here's hoping all my struggles were worth it. Would I buy these again? Only if I could not find something better.

Pretty hard to peel off the backing but adhesion after following the instructions for a clean and wet glass was wonderful. By the way they've been up for 2 weeks now and I've not had a single bird strike where I was getting them almost daily. A plus is when the morning sun is shining through the French door where these are applied they leave the most beautiful prism colors all over my walls. I can live with this! And it doesn't obstruct my view of my feeders.

Before we put these up we had at least 10 bird strikes, and several bird deaths a day. We haven't had a single death since putting them up! Easy to put up and remove. Highly recommend.

These are super cute and sparkle nicely with the light. I followed the directions, cleaned the window and sprayed a bit of water, they stick for one day and fall off. We live in AZ and it's very hot and they just won't stay on. I even tried soapy water but no luck. :(

These are very easy to place on the glass and easily removed. I was worried about them falling off but we had a downpour a couple of days after I had placed them and they didn’t move.It says they can be used inside or outside and I have done both. The colors when the sun shines on them are very vibrant! The photo provided is from across the room!

Working from home I kept hearing large bangs coming from my family room and realized it was from birds striking my sliding door. I chose these swallow window clings and they have worked excellent! I also place them near the bottom of the sliding door to prevent my puppy from walking into the glass. They’re also really pretty.

I purchased them to stop birds from flying into my window. They were easy to install. They are still there after a full season! Do they stop the bird strikes 100% - No, but from 2-3 hard strikes per day, we have an average of 1 soft strike every other week. So they do the job intended.
