Q: Once it's completely dried, is it waterproof?

No, unfortunately not. In my experience,It should not get wet or be exposed to excessive humidity. If it is, the glaze will become cloudy and sticky.

Q: Does it harden the clay, or does it only make it more glossy?

Hi Nick. No, it makes it glossy. It is best to bake the clay piece then polish with the glossy glaze. It really looks nice and it does protect against nicks (pun intended). :)

Q: Should this go over acrylic paint or mod podge for a shinny finish?

It would work well for acrylic paint, but I don't think I've heard anything about going over mod podge. Though, I believe it can be used in place of mod podge on some projects.

Q: My sculpture is air dried, painted and not baked....I don't plan on baking them but want a nice seal ontop. is this recommended for that?

I've used this both on bake and air dry clay. It works great on both and very solid once fully dry.
