Yes, that is a great attribute, it also works well in cleaning the paint from your Bob Ross Palette. But mostly the Knife is used to put snow on the mountains.. But it can do so much more. You can do an entire palette knife painting with this.

Acrylic paint dries much faster, so I don't think painting knives are typically used to blend it, as it does not have the same capabilities as oil paints.
