This is Advent Calender
I have bought more than 200 or 300 products in Amazon, but I'm writing my first comment, as I have to correct.. Some one were mentioning "this is just a box with 24 figures and it's not an Advent Calendar. 1 star." But that's wrong. The products have 24 windows for each day, and small figures inside the windows. My 3 years son is really happy with the products, and cannot wait tomorrow morning.

Has a few things going against it but it'll make a child happy throughout December.
This is or shall I say was the 4th Lego Advent calendar that I bought for my daughter.Okay, people are complaining how this isn't an Advent calendar as there's nothing behind the door and they are saying how it's just a box of Lego.As I'm buying this so called Advent calendar in addition to traditional chocolate advent calendar, it's absolutely fine for what it is!For a 5 or a 10 year old it's the anticipation of 'what will a little toy be like tomorrow morning' that counts, which this product summons it up just as expected! My problem, more then thinking if this is or isn't an advent calendar is that some toys/figurines are great whilst others are a complete waste! There are a several doors that when opened and you take Lego bricks out, don't give any fun factor when assembled!Colour scheme of the box is very suitable and Christmassy and product itself will stand up properly and won't tip over when opening the doors. Here's a thought; make a number 24 a bit bigger door, more interesting and unexpected surprise inside, rather then as you can already guess what it'll be inside by just looking at the box itself.Price wise, well, for some it's expensive and for others it isn't. There are offers on Lego Advent calendars throughout the year, so a lot of opportunities to get it a few-several £££ cheaper. There are a few things going against this product and also there isn't many different themes to choose.Despite all that, I recommend this product as if it brings up a sparkle in your child's eyes in the morning throughout December, it was and is worth it.

Won't be getting another one next year
Bit disappointed by the lack of instructions or knowing what some of the things are once complete. Instructions are on the inside of the box which means there's nothing complicated to build, although my son was confused with some items; even I was! I think one item to build is a drone?!I wrecked the box trying to open it as it had really strong tape around all the edges. I didn't know what edges to open because one side pulls down so there is a scene for all the advent pieces to sit on and be used as a play scene so I had to tape the other side up.The pieces are in hard polystyrene which isn't great because it's not recyclable. My son hasn't been that thrilled about what he's received and neither have I, but I'm hoping it's all useful for his main Christmas present which is a Lego City set. He's enjoyed the cheap Lego people I've been putting in his reusable advent calendar over this.

No playability
Absolute pants and poor value for money, I've purchased these calendars every year but won't be again, Lego must be thinking of the environment by reducing the plastic as they have gotten smaller with less pieces, it literally takes a couple of seconds to build each item.As for the age 5-12? I don't see children playing with at the later years.Very poor indeed.

Lovely but overpriced
Wonderful - kids absolutely loved having something new to build.Care with opening though! My 7yr old son managed to open it at one end before I had realised what was happening and consequently ALL the individual days packets of bricks to build fell to the floor and we were unable to match which packet went back in which day so had no clue often how to build the item without the correct picture window to work from.Otherwise brilliant but a little overpriced
