My granddaughter loves these! Perfect size for her little hands. You get two of each texture, which is nice so you can keep one set at home and one in the diaper bag for travel.

great for texture, learning disabled
I have a 4yo grandson who is autistic and non-verbal. If anyone reading this review is in the same situation, then you will know exactly what I mean when I say that, to those with this disability, texture is a HUGE part of their lives.I don't know what it's like to live in their world, but I have watched my grandson grow (with his therapist's and his parents' help) into a happy youngster, full of life...and full of curiosity.These squares, altho' they appear at first glance to be nothing much, are a great teaching aid...to someone who "sees" his surroundings with his sense of touch as much as with his sense of sight, they can also bring comfort.I hope that, with time and help, my grandson will eventually grow into a happy, active young man. In the meantime, I intend to do what I can to help him learn about the world around him. And these sensory squares are a step in the right direction.FIVE STARS*****

Different textures without being overwhelmed
The media could not be loaded. My friend has advanced dementia and likes to feel things. She also fidgets with things.Inside this handy drawstring bag (The bag itself is probably 6"x8")are 20 squares. Two squares each of ten different textures.The squares are about 2"x3". Perfect size for what I'm looking for.Some of different textures:LeatherCorduroyFurLambskinBumpya course fuzzySmoothI also like that each texture is a different color.Another thing that I like is that the bag's opening is big enough for her to be able to reach in and just grab one square out. A little bit of mystery, but moreso a way to keep from being overwhelmed by so many options.I recommend giving this a try if you know someone who likes to feel things or even if they are learning different textures.

Loves this item. Many different textures for the kids to feel. 2 of each one. Great size squares and comes with a handy bag. Love it. Came fast to my house.

Overall Good
These are great. I was pleased to find out there was two of each texture. I was disappointed to find a stain on one of the pieces. It looks like another product with ink was pressed against the material. I don't think I can get it off. I hope they can replace it.
