I have a pixie cut and very stubborn hair. My fringe loves crinkling up and I have sections of hair on either side of the back of my head that loves to stand up and it's always been a challenge to make it sit reasonably well in the mornings (usually a combination of water and hair spray!) So I have been looking for a straightener for very short hair and I have finally found it! The unit is not too big but big enough to easily handle, and the small plates are perfect for pixie style cuts. It's extremely easy to use and heats up very quickly. It's so good to be able to tame my hair!! I highly recommend the ghd mini styler - simply superb!

I’ve recently gone from long hair to short and needed straighteners to keep my hair looking tidy. These being narrower than most mean they are ideal for short hair and fringes. They heat up extremely quickly and make a little sound within seconds to say they’ve reached the correct temperature. They have a long lead so are ideal to reach a mirror while in use. I am able to straighten my hair easily in a couple minutes. So much better and smoother in use than another brand of straightener that I used up until now. I’m delighted with my purchase.

Does what its meant to

It’s perfect as other brands of mini straighteners are very small and handle thin which makes it very hard to handle if trying to put some waves in short hair. This one is a normal size straightener but with a thin straightener plates. Also love the very quick warming up with beeps to let you know it’s ready.
