Comfy, Runs True to Size
Awesome shoes, my favorite Five Fingers for pavement, the gym, and around the house. They have enough padding to let you wear them all day but are thin enough to still feel the ground. I found them to fit true to size, not large as the description states. My feet measure just a bit over 10.5 inches, maybe 10.75 after a long day (I measure 10D at the store, wear 10.5 in most shoes, and wear a 43 in both the V-Trail and Trek Ascent). I ordered a size smaller as the description suggested and they were too short. While they are very stretchy, the 42 was making some of my toes curl and the joints hurt after just a couple minutes of wearing them. I exchanged the 42 for a 43 and the 43 fits perfectly. Most of my toes still hit the end and the shoe doesn't move around at all when I run. If you have really short toes you might be able to size down (my third and fourth toes are a bit long and were the ones really being scrunched), but Vibram isn't recommending it, just Amazon for some reason.

Like many people have said before you have to order ...
Like many people have said before you have to order a size smaller than usual. Usually I wear 10.5 (44 in European) and I ordered these in 43. Those fit just fine. These are my first five finger shoes and it really changes your running style. I run now much more efficiently, smoother and actually faster. It's also a fun sensation to actually feel the ground with every step, but it never hurts my feet. The only negative is that I get blisters on my heal where the shoes have this little rig on top. My only solution is to place some flexible band aids there before every run. Hopefully my skin gets more used to the friction there and I won't need it much longer. Other than that those are the best running shoes I ever had by far, especially because it radically altered my running style for the better. Oh, and my knees don't hurt anymore.

Favorite of the Vibrams.
This is my favorite Vibram shoe. Its the most comfortable with the least amount of seams of any Vibram shoe. It fits well and after has been broken in I don't have any issues with blistering. On the first couple of runs when I have a new shoe, if I forget to bandage my heal I'll get blisters there after a long run, but that's a short term issue. This probably isn't a great shoe if you're running on a dirt path with a lot of debris; part of the comfort level of the shoe is that the tread is as thin as possible, so if you run on a rock or kick one, you will feel it. Great shoe if you're into minimalist running on pavement. Buy it.

Almost perfect, but I'll still take em!
I only gave four stars because of the nonstandard sizing. The shoes are of high quality, extremely comfortable and the souls feel perfect! For me they fit about a half size larger, when I ordered a full size smaller like Vibram recommends, the fit was too tight. I returned those and ordered my usual fivefinger size and the fit is very good but not perfectly snug like all my other fivefingers. The heel is also feels somewhat awkward because of its low cut design, but there has not been a time when my heel slipped out, just a slight loose feeling.

The best thing you can do for your feetI
I love these shoes and cannot recommend them enough. They are a very worthwhile investment. They are the first pair of barefoot shoes, and the first five-finger shoes, i have owned. Break in time was nil. They were comfortable from the start. Don't be scared of the thin sole; you can walk on all kinds of terrain with these comfortably. I used to have bunions on both feet (outward hypergrowth of the first metatarsal), which pushes your big toe inward, affecting your balance, causing you to walk on the outside edges of your feet, and can contribute to lower back pain as well. I had them corrected surgically and, in my opinion now since buying the Vibrams, I wish I had been wearing these since then. Or maybe if i had worn them before that, bunions wouldn't have developed. In any case, after wearing them now regularly for several months, I notice that each of my toes is stronger and can move independently of the others. If you don't wear wide toe-box shoes, you would be surprised how much this contributes to better balance and leg strength. Since buying these, i have also bought a pair of Altras zero drop, and I don't know if i will ever go back to non-wide toe box shoes. They are simply much better for walking, for balance, for unsquishing your toesies and allowing them back into a more normal position. It is the best thing you can do for yourself in terms of strength, posture, balance, and ultimately, comfort too. Also, if you like conversation starters, these shoes are it! People either used to have them but gave up on them, or want to know more about them. They are eye-catching :D. Additionally, they are also super-easy to pack; they don't take up any space at all. And yes, you can throw them in the wash.

Inside stitching at balls of feet give blisters
I wanted to like these shoes. I have other Vibrams and they are great for walking and running. The first time I tried these shoes, I got blisters on the balls of my feet, but thought they may need to be broken in. With weeks in between runs to let them heal, second, third and now fourth runs have all produced blisters in the same areas. The shoe is nearly a perfect fit, but the stitching along the inside of the ball of the feet is raised enough so that about 1 mile into any run, these shoes will start to be painful and result in blisters each time. This is probably a QC issue, but can't be overlooked. Would absolutely not recommend, just based on both shoes giving blisters in the mirror areas on both feet.

Comfort and speed
I absolutely love my vibrams and wear them for trail running whenever I go out. Much better than conventional sneakers for outdoor paths but you may need another pair that specializes in cold weather. I will say these are great for dirt paths bit watch it around jagged rocks, you will feel the points. But get ‘em wet and dirty for sure and they’re very durable and well made.
