My 15yr old Dachshund hurt her back and ended up with a herniated disk that caused her to be temporarily paralyzed in her back legs. I tried 5 different harnesses and this one is my favorite that fits her and her private parts to use the bathroom easily. She is doing better and using her legs now, but we are working on building the muscle back up from being atrophied so much. It's light weight and reinforced so it won't tear easily. Easy to clean If your dog can't use their back legs well you need that figure 8 to help them and a good dip in the center of the "8" for pee pee breaks. This provides that, especially for female anatomy. The only thing thing that would make this harness better is longer straps to hold to support her. I have a small and a medium, those will obviously go on smaller dogs. I'm 5ft 8 and my husband is 6ft 4. It's impossible for him to use this harness for her, it hurts his back too much with the bending over. I use it but have to lean to the side and slouch. I'd much rather have too much extra than not enough. We have others from other companies that work, but are big and clunky. I like the simplicity of this harness along with its well placed curves and reinforced sides to support her well.

Perfect solution for my senior Golden Retriever with a recent front leg amputation who needs some stability assistance when walking. Nice secure options on how to use it sling vs harness. It is soft, nicely padded, thin and flexible, with a great large "Velcro" patch area for a secure and strong fit. Handles are length adjustable, soft, padded handle and provide me a confident secure hold. A+

The product is great! The customer service is awesome! When I tried to return the size that I ordered since it didn't fit right on my dog, their customer service offered me a larger size which I received in the mail not too long with no extra charge. They even let me keep the smaller size that I ordered which I can donate to other dogs that need the lift.

This product actually cut into my dogs inner thigh so bad he may need stitches. It is not a good design. There should be some type of padding around the leg holes to protect your pet.

My 85lb Lab had a seizure and couldn't control his back legs, leading to knuckling and falling down. We tried another lifting harness that dug into his chest and slid back and hurt his boy parts. We then tried a wheelchair which was a disaster. We were feeling defeated, because there are so few products for large dogs that let them go to the bathroom without removing it. We decided to give this harness a try. We purchased a size large for him, and when it arrived, it was pretty simple and straight forward to put on him. I immediately noticed that I wasn't blowing out my bicep muscles to hold the straps and assist him. He was able to pee and poo with it on, and it's just the right amount of soft and strong, so as not to cut into the skin, but allows for full support of the back end if needed. I believe this is the absolute best product on the market right now for a large, male dog that needs a fair amount of support to help walk outside.

This item is well made and seems like it would be a great help for pets with mobility issues, but it didn't work for our dog. He has DM or something like it, and can't control his back legs well. But this harness seems to put uncomfortable pressure on him - he snarls at me when I put it on him - this is the only time he complains about his condition. It also makes it impossible for him to walk - seems to squeeze his back legs together so he can't position them far enough apart to balance. Again - seems like a good product. Just writing this to help people decide whether it's the right thing for your dog's condition. If your dog won't tolerate any pressure on his hind quarters, this might not work.

Excellent customer service! The Pfaff staff is very responsive to customer's email. I needed the carrier ASAP and emailed to the Pfaff with my situation. The carrier was shipped within a few hours of my order with a follow up email from the Pfaff. It's shipped from Germany. The carrier is simple to use, provides nice cushioning. The edge of the openings for the legs is stretchable soft and will not cut the skin. The whole carrier is reinforced all around to support the weight of the dog. Unfortunately my dog passed away before he could use it. The Pfaff is very understanding made the return very easy. I donated the product to local shelter and they refunded me within a day. If I ever need a carrier in the future, I will definitely get this product again.

too big! I have measure my Golden retriever's leg and lower abdomen, and choose the size according to the suggestion on the website. But the Carrier is still too big. So it will impede my dog's walking. I have not use it after the first wearing.

I had a 14 yr old collie/shep mix that had some serious back end issues. He really struggled going up and down the stairs and near the end just standing upright. This brace really helped maneauver him around the house and yard when it was time to go outside. I recommend this product and would buy it again.

Einmal kurz etwas zum Hund: Durch einen Bandscheibenvorfall hat er seine Hinterläufe nicht mehr bewegen können. 3 Tage soll er medikamentös behandelt und dannach operiert werden. Am vierten Tag (zugleich einen Tag nachdem er die Tragehilfe erhalten hatte und etwas geübt hatte) versuchte er seine ersten Schritte mit den hinteren Pfoten. Ich hoffe es wird nur besser, aber für den Anfang ist es schon eine rießige Verbesserung und stärkt dazu den Willen des Hundes immens. Besonders froh hat mich gemacht dass ich den Artikel um einiges früher bekommen hatte als angekündet, denn er war innerhalb von einem Werktag da. Die Ware ist qualitativ hochwertig und dient unserem Hund zur Regeneration der körperlichen Vitalität. Für ein empfehlenswertes Produkt dass überdurchschnittlich schnell geliefert wurde, gebe ich gerne 5* her. *Update vom 01.02.2017: Dem kleinen Racker geht es schon viel besser, er geht mit und auch schon ohne Tragehilfe sehr gut! Die Tragehilfe unterstützt uns wann immer wir ihn Rausbringen und zu Übungszwecken, um die Beinmuskulatur zu trainieren. *UPDATE (01.02.2017) Hund trainiert fleißig mit und ohne die Tragehilfe seine Beinmuskulatur und läuft auch schon wieder!

Great item. Well made in soft neoprene.have tried 3 other harnesses and this is best for my arthritic springer. No seams around legs so if necessary legs holes could be made larger with simple use of scissors. Soft support under belly as opposed to narrow pelvic band on other harnesses which impeded on lumps she has in this area. No problem with toileting either.Adjustable hanfles. Could have got away with a smaller size in retrospect but have added another strip of velco which had made it smaller. Excellent item

A minha golden retriever sofre de displasia da anca e já tem muita dificuldade em andar. Já tinha adquirido outros produtos semelhantes, mas o apoio era apenas na zona da barriga. Com este produto, consigo ajudá-la a andar e a subir escadas, pois o apoio é dado na zona que ela tem mais dificuldade. O tamanho foi adequado para uma golden retriever de 40kg.

Lo usamos como complemento a la silla de ruedas para una salida corta. El único problema es que no puedes decidir por dónde vas. Para eso haría falta que fuera un arnés doble. Un poco caro para lo que es pero no hay opciones iguales por menos precio en el mercado
