anyone used this to wrap around iPhone/iPad/Macbook charging cords that are getting a little frayed? thanks

1. $100 is less than a burnt house. So don't. 2. If the wires are able to short (under the tape); you have a fire starter. 3. Pre-wrap the new cord tips. Only the ends. The cord is a heater, the cord must aircool. (Think toaster). Wrap the ends so they can't bend as harshly. Retired Electronics Tech. I've seen a short start a fire. This fire could be your phone itself, $1k I've seen a fire sink a ship, live. 5 volts is more than enough. 6 volts can start a car engine, VW bugs. I can't stop a car by hand.

Will this tape stay white? Or yellow over time?

Mostly white; I mean, have used tape inside electrical boxes twenty years ago and still basically white/off-white. It bright & direct sunlight it will yellow and also indicates it should be changed as it's becoming brittle.

I have an 8x10 picture I want to have 3/4" white border. Will this tape work? Is it smooth?
