EDIT: So I repurchased this because the original 1 after a year was on its last leg... The 1 I received this time was totally black. The design was carved into it but not white so it looks totally black and you can't see the carved design. It looked better the 1st time Great quality for price.. very pleased with this purchase. Necklace wore after awhile (wore everyday) but I just put the turtle on another necklace.

I've been reconnecting with my taino heritage in the past few years so I'm always on the lookout for things to wear that represents my culture. Been wearing it ever since I bought it and haven't taken it off. I love that it is shaped like a Carey (sea turtle) and has the taino symbols for the sun and coquí frog. You can adjust the necklace however long or short you want it so no matter your age or height you will be able to wear it. Amo que tiene forma de una tortuga Carey y que tiene los simbolos tainos del sol y el coquí. El collar se puede ajustar a cuan largo o corto lo quieras asi que no importa tu edad o altura, vas a poder usarlo.

I like the turtle, size not too big, not heavy feels light around the neck, money value is fair, the quality is okay.
