Works pretty well. I found Icy/Hot to do about the same. Tiger balm is a good product, but more a little expensive.

This is very good for sore muscles and better for you that what you can buy at a drug store. I have some in the house, in my travel kit, for my kids in college, and my elderly parents. Yes, it smells because it's got menthol in it, but that's what helps for the pain relief and sore muscles. This is a must-have for my 'medicine' cabinet.

I strained my wrist and used the tiger balm for relief. It worked really well; it is not too greasy, smells nice and within a few days I had significant relief. I will use this for any issue going forward.
