Intolerable buzzing sound
I bought this case as a cheap stand-in for a real case when I came to study abroad in Europe, and it has been horrendous. It has fairly cheap build quality, but you get what you pay for in that regard. The real problem is that, with only 2 mechanical drives in it, the thing buzzes! It's so poorly put together that even taking the front and side panels off, it still sounds like a damned power transformer! It drives me nuts! Sometimes it goes away if I lean on it right, other times it might as well be part of the damned soundtrack of whatever I'm watching or playing. Used to be that I'd just throw on some headphones and ignore it, but guess what died last night? Now I'm stuck listening to this thing for the next 5 weeks until I go home, at which point it's getting thrown out a window.

First time building a PC and I went with this case because I wanted something big and boxy without looking too fancy while also being sturdy and good quality. This is a ten year old design but I prefer the style and it comes with two 5.25 drive bays and one 3.5 drive bay which is something a lot of cases don't seem to have anymore. There was only one issue which wasn't really a problem in the end that being the instructions insist on using a particular screw but they just wouldn't go into the standoffs and I didn't think they were the right kind anyway so I used the other screws which are intended for hard drives and they worked fine. You get a bag with lots of screws and the case comes with a pre-installed fan on the back. Another thing I like about this case is that the PSU slot is on the top as it should be unlike some of the newer designs which place it on the bottom. Supposedly it's to reduce the strain because the heat isn't rising up and going through the PSU but having it on the bottom in my environment would clog it up with fluff in no time.
