This is a cool gadget but needs some improvements
I liked the concept of this but it's a bit hard for my girls 4 and 3 to use. The ropes stick instantly and seem to fray easily so I expect after a few uses we will need new ropes. The "pen" is a bit tricky for them to load and the feeding line is open so the string falls out easily. It's pretty bulky to hold even for me so it's really a challenge for my girls. I am teaching them to just do this by hand but as soon as the string get's near it sticks all over and frustrates them. Hopefully they will get the learning curve but I think the pen design could be improved. Again I like the innovation and novelty of this but I think it needs some beta testing and future generations might make this product really great. It has "light bright" potential, but not until it becomes more user friendly.

Fun toy but some quality issues
We bought this for our granddaughter's 3rd birthday. Great toy but there were no instructions and the top was somewhat warped so it did not fit as well as I would have liked. A few of the strings were slightly frayed already so I don't know how well they will hold up. Since there was no info with the toy I don't know if we can order extra. I would have returned it but she loved it.

The plastic stand is flimsy and doesn't hold the board security. It's also useless as a storage as it can't be covered. Lace is hard to put in the pen. The idea is great and my daughter still loves it, but design of the box needs to be improved.

Very creative gift for a 5 year old
Very creative toy. I gave it as a gift to my friend's 5 year old, and he loved it. It seems easy to use for him. The only thing I'll complain about it, is the packaging. It came in a very plain white box, with a small sticker in the center with the name. Since it was a gift I kind of felt like the box was screaming "I'm cheap".

At first, a little confusing on how to use. Once we figured it out...the children enjoyed it.

Great Idea. Poorly designed and constructed.
Great idea poorly designed and constructed. Storage case is not designed to store. It basically is just a carrying case, and it only clips to the Velcro board at one point. The board can only be fastened (unsecurely) facing out so fuzzies stick to it. The laces fray after only a couple uses and are loud when being pulled off of the board making this not a good activity for church and quiet settings. I considered making something like this myself and wish that I had. Very disappointed.

Not much of a hit ...
my grandchildren were interested in this for about 3 minutes. 4 year old boy and 3 year old girl who normally are very in to their creative side. Grandma was somewhat disappointed in the product :-(
