while I am not a teacher, and it has been 15 years since I have been in elementary school, I still think is pretty good construction paper. it may not be as thick as what schools buy, but it is fairly thick and also I think smoother and nicer colours than what I remember in school. anyway I got this for my daughter, who goes through a package of this in less than six weeks. she draws on it and makes cards, etc, so we are not using it for constructing per say. she is pleased, and commented that she likes the colors. they are not super bright like colored printer paper, but they are brighter than the previous value type construction paper I got at wall mart, and at Amazon a better value. Will definitely buy again...and again :)

This is the classic construction paper that you probably had in your kindergarten art class. It's nice, heavy and sturdy which is why I didn't rate the light weight feature. Looking forward to a lot of arts and craft with my little niece. She loves cutting paper and the material has a nice feel to it.

At first I was worried because of some other negative reviews about this paper. When package arrived however I was very pleased. The paper is not heavy duty thick paper but it is still good paper. Great for all sorts of craft projects. The colors are good and I was very pleased with the paper overall. I bought two packs and have so much paper, I am looking forward to the endless crafts I will have to do with my daughter. I would say this is actually a good buy. Can't beat the price or the quantity. It's great.

What a great pack of colored papers to have ready on hand to make any project you desire to make. Packed with all the colors together and neatly stacked together. I don't think I tried Crayola's Construction paper before. But just used two colors and the qualtity of the paper is beautiful. Wish I could show how many projects I could make with them. Keeps the minds creative and makes the little hands stay busy. Every home should have a pack of these beautifully colored papers on hand for when the kiddies come to visit on a rainy day. My Grandma kept a box of all these things, and it encouraged me to make things and just have fun. Ladies and Gents, please llisten to this old wise Owl and buy these quality made papers.

Great value and variety for arts and crafts

I purchased this along with other art supplies for my 5 year old nephew who loves to do crafts. The paper is a good weight and works great for drawing, cards, paper airplanes, etc. I've received many a thank you letter and drawing made from this pack and I'm really happy I bought this for him. I'll add to the comment that this paper is dark with saying that some of the colors are bright - its just that the paper is not pastel/light.

These papers are great to create craft and also make cards. My daughter can cut them herself and loves the shades they come in.

Pros... Thick paper.. Unlike some others that say construction paper but are paper thin! Easy to cut ! Paint and markers do not bleed through ! Glue holds well to the the paper so beads, buttons or glitter won't fall off easily! Easy for young children to hold without getting paper cuts ! ( although I'm not saying it cant happen! ) Bright colors! This huge book gives you a variety of colors that are perfect for any theme year round ! Safe non toxic paper! A great deal with amazons pricing since the our local store offers 1/2 the amount of paper for the same price! So it's a must for me!
